How much time do you spend undertaking HRactivities in your work?
As leaders, manager or administrators oftenthe HR function is allocated a small componentof our work week but it can become a hugecomponent draining both your time and youremotional energy.
This one day forum will explore a wide rangeof HR topics from recruiting the right peopleto performance management, supporting staffwellness and everything in between. Totally
HR, will kick with a great keynote from RobRedenbach, streetwise leader, corporate andteamwork strategist speaking on his insights intoleadership, conflict and human resources. Youwill then have the opportunity to engage in threeof 11 great workshops of your choice.
All sessions are practical and engaging andwill leave you feeling confident, energised andready a big year ahead.

Keynote SpeakerROB REDENBACH
Rob is a streetwise leader who has taught both physical and non-physical conflictresolution programs to Nelson Mandelas Presidential Protection Unit and providedspecialised risk-management services to aid workers in the Middle East. Rob hastransferred the strategies of elite security to business and leadership. He supportsleaders and teams to:
Reduce conict and improve cooperation
Communicate with signifcantly greater confdence
Enhance teamwork, trust and mutual respect
Manage external pressure and internal doubt

DOUG EVANS
Doug Evans is the CEO of the Workforce Council. Doug hasworked in a range of business models including Global Consumer
Companies, NFP, and member based organisations. He hasalso worked in retail and service businesses across a numberof industries including pharmaceuticals, Fast Moving ConsumerGoods, sport, and charitable organisations. Doug has a strongcommitment to working collaboratively, compassionately and withhigh integrity, and he is passionate about strengthening the healthand community services.
BETH DWINE
Beth Dwine has over 15years experience in the government,not-for-profit and private domains of the Human Service Sector asa qualified Social Worker, specialising in team development andleadership. In her current role as a Consultant with the WorkforceCouncil, Beth brings her experiences in practitioner development,
ethical practice in action, dealing with team complexity andstrategic planning for high performance. Beths practice is informedby Strengths-based perspective focussed on generating healthy andsustainable change at the individual, organisational and sectorlevel.
STACY FIELD
Stacy Fields expertise in advising and guiding organisations to plantheir workforce is of particular value at this time, helping clients gofrom an uncertain future to one they are prepared for, putting herin high demand. Stacy is passionate about the community servicessector and those working in it, and is motivated by developingcreative and innovative approaches to growing, sustaining anddeveloping our industrys workforce.
JAN UNGERER
Jan Ungerer has a wealth of experience in the human servicesarea, having worked across a range of community, educationaland business contexts and in a variety of roles including, EarlyChildhood Teacher, Senior Project Officer for National DisabilityServices, Learning & Development Coordinator, presenter, freelancefacilitator, and workplace trainer. Jans practice is informed bythe frameworks of Appreciative Inquiry and dialogue basedmethodologies. Jan is an apprenticing steward connected with theArt of Hosting worldwide network.
LOUISE VILLANOVA
Louise Villanova has been employed at the Workforce Councilsince 2010. Louise brings with her over 20 years experience froma range of sectors within Community Services. Through much ofthis time Louise has had a focus on building the capacity of thecommunity services industry through sector development and morerecently workforce planning. Louises work is currently focussed on
leadership, inclusion and workforce development.
RONA SCHERER
Rona Scherer comes from the Kuku Yalanji (Salt water) and Mamu(Rainforest) peoples of Far North Queensland, having a strong andactive role in her homelands. She comes with diverse experiencesranging from administration, working with children to curating artexhibitions and facilitating workshops. Rona also sits on the Boardof Mullen Bun Goon for the Mamu Tropical Skywalk in Far NorthQueensland. At present, Rona works for the Workforce Council asa Workforce Consultant delivering inclusive practice workshops to
chidrens services, health and community services.
LEE GANE
Lee draws on many years of practical experience in the Educationand Care sector, sharing a wealth of knowledge, skills andexpertise drawn from her lived experiences in a range of rolesacross Education and Care. As an Educator, Early ChildhoodTeacher, Director, Approved Provider and Validator. Lee is drivenand passionate about working in partnership with Education andCare professionals to build on existing knowledge and skills. Witha commitment to play based pedagogy in Education and Carethrough strengths based approaches. Acknowledging that to builda sustainable Education and Care workforce well equipped toeducate and nurture childrens Belonging, Being and Becoming
we need to work in partnership with educators to connect with ourvalues, beliefs and practice framework, to be able to advocate,motivate and co create the future for education and care we aspireto.
SHARON STOCKER
Sharon is an Emotional Wellness Leader who has worked onseveral projects in the community health and non-governmentsectors and she approaches health and wellness as an outcomeof mental health issues. She has been involved in mental healthand wellness for 10 years and has attended over 60,000 hours ofpersonal development.
Currently, Sharon works as a freelance trainer, peer mentor andcoach while also facilitating a community based crisis interventionprogram called Emotional CPR. She has a passion for music,dance and yoga and is continually inspired by her children andhusband.
BETTY TAYLOR
Betty has worked across the domestic violence sector for the past28 years. She was the founding Manager of the Gold CoastDomestic Violence Prevention Centre, chaired the QueenslandDomestic Violence Council for 2 terms and has been an activemember of the Domestic Violence Death Review Action Groupssince its formation in 2004. Betty has written several trainingmanuals including Developing a Workplace Response to DomesticViolence. This manual was re-published by the Office for Womenin Canberra and was circulated to several national companies toassist with the development of domestic violence workplace policiesand responses. For the past ten years, Betty has delivered domesticviolence training to various organisations across Queensland.
