Dear Toth Parents and Families, We are back in full swing of second semester and 2019! Students will not have school on Monday, January 21st, in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Also, it is hard to believe, but state testing will be taking place in April. English/Language Arts testing in grade 3 will be April 9 and 11, and grade 4 will be taking place April 16 and 17. Math testing for grade 3 will take place April 23 and 25, and grade 4 will be April 30, and May 2. It is very important that students are in school each of these days during our testing window. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Respectfully, Mr. Dale Wiltse, Principal Toth Elementary would like your feedback regarding The Jacket Way. A survey will be sent home in your child's progress binder tonight and will be used to help us make appropriate changes for the 2019/2020 school year. Surveys may be completed per child or per household. The Jacket Way survey is also available at the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/Ha8qjofNsc1nwUC52 Thank you for helping us continue to improve The Jacket Way at Toth.

Congratulations Toth!Toth Elementary School was awarded the Community Philanthropy Award at The Ability Center of Greater Toledo's Donor Appreciation Dinner at Belmont Country Club on November 13, 2018.  This award was given in recognition of our successful Coin Challenges that have raised over $6000 for Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence over the past few years.  Look for the 2018-19 Coin Challenge to be held in March.  A sincere thank you to all students, parents, and staff who make this Community Service Project possible!

Toth Carnival Success!A huge thank you to all Toth students, parents, staff, and community members for supporting the 2018 Toth Carnival!  We were able to raise over $9000, which will be shared between our school and The American Cancer Society.  For many years the proceeds have been shared with ACS in honor and memory of Toth students, families, and staff members who have been touched by cancer.  This is also an excellent way to teach our students to give back to our community, while at the same time enjoying a fun-filled family night.  We appreciate all of our donors who made the raffle and silent auction a success.  If you are in the building you will see their names proudly displayed in our lobby.

Are You a Grandparent Raising a Grandchild?

Do you know a grandparent raising a grandchild? The district is working with our local ESC to provide a Grandparent Group. This group would allow you to meet other grandparents raising their grandchildren, bounce ideas around and receive support and tips from community organizations.  The group would meet monthly to address topics of interest and provide the supports you need. To help us with the development of this group, please reply to the short 6 questions survey below. https://goo.gl/forms/G6hrT28p8y3AQYhx1
