To implement the mandate written in the GovernmentRegulationNo.67of2013ontheStatuteofUniversitasGadjahMada (UGM) ,UGM is challenged to improve thequality andrelevanceofhighereducationwhichisadaptiveandresponsivein solving national problems. WhatIsDisruptiveInnovation?
Disruptiveinnovationisaterminthe�ieldofbusinessadministrationwhichreferstoaninnovationthatcreatesanewmarketandvaluenetworkandeventuallydisruptsanexistingmarketandvaluenetwork,displacingestablishedmarketleading�irms,products,andalliances.
Disruptiveinnovationhasprovedtobeapowerfulwayofthinkingaboutinnovation-drivengrowth(HarvardBusinessReview,2015).1

The Faculty of Medicine has initiated the dissemination knowledgem o d e l s i n c e 2 0 1 0 t h r o u g h t h e K n ow l e d g e C h a n n e l(http://kanalpengetahuan.�k.ugm.ac.id/). The Faculty of Social andPoliticalScienceshasalsodevelopedaknowledgedisseminationmodelin 2015 (http://focus.�isipol .ugm.ac.id/). Both knowledgedissemination models have become the pioneers in knowledgedisseminationattheUGM.

UGM needs to continue producing innovations that enrich themethods in the dissemination of knowledge, technology, art, andUGM values, as well as to minimize the disruptive effects oftechnologicaladvances.
AsoneofPIKA'stasksdevelopingdisruptiveinnovationinthe�ieldofacademic,theknowledgedisseminationinnovationis realized in the form of Faculty Knowledge Channel (KPF-Kanal Pengetahuan Fakultas) and synergized in UGMKnowledgeChannel(http://kanalpengetahuan.ugm.ac.id/).ThereareseveralessentialstimulantsinthedevelopmentofthisKnowledgeChannel:
1. SciencedevelopedinUGMshouldbecomingaLearningResourceandpublic-goodsforthosewhoneedit;2. Currenttelematicstechnologyisgrowingrapidly;3. Disseminationtechnologyintheformofwriting,video,audiothroughWebinar,Skype,LearningManagement
System (LMS),MassiveOpenOnlineCourse (MOOC) and so onhas evolved into better, cheaper, and easiertechnology;
4. Computersandgadgetreceiverarewidespreadandeasilyavailableineverycornerofthecountry.
The Knowledge Channel contains various knowledge disseminationmethods andweb-based learning such as theKnowledgePortal;VideoDocumentary;Webinar;MassiveOpenOnlineCourse(MOOC)(https://elok.ugm.ac.id/);e-learningservicesforlearning(http://elisa.ugm.ac.id/);andvariousothermodelsthatarecontinuouslydeveloped.ThenumberoffacultiesthatdeveloptheFacultyKnowledgeChannelcontinuestoincreasefromyeartoyear.Since2017,allfacultieshavealreadydevelopedKnowledgeDisseminationmodel(includingthroughtheFacultyKnowledgeChannel
Inadditiontothemediaforknowledgedissemination,KnowledgePortalcanalsoserveasausefullearningresourcefortheacademiccommunityinthefacultyorschoolworkunitthroughtheencouragementofgoodandorderlydocumentationmanagementofthesciencedevelopmentresults.Asofmid-2017,morethan100pagesoftheKnowledgePortalhavebeendeveloped.

eLisa (eLearning System for Academic Community) is a learningmanagementsystem(LMS)developedbyUGMtofacilitatethelearningprocessbothinthecontextoflecturesatUGMandonlinelearning.Since2004eLisahascontinuedtodevelopthroughinputfromlecturersandstudents.ThenumberofstudentsandlecturerswhoareusingeLisaisincreasing from year to year as well as the number of course'scommunitiesthatareusingeLisa.
TheCenter forAcademic Innovation andStudiesheld trainingonVisualAudioProduction forVideoDocumentaryProduction.ThetrainingwasattendedbytheKnowledgeChanneldevelopmentteamandthedocumentationteamfromtheunitsatUGM.Thistrainingaimstoenhancetheknowledgeof theFacultyKnowledgeChannelteamindevelopingvideosfortheKnowledgeChannel.Since2016,morethan120lecturersandeducatorshaveparticipatedinthevideodocumentaryproductiontrainingprogram.
