Spa Policies

Is there a minimum age for treatments? Guests must be at least 16 years of age to enjoy spa treatments. If under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be in the room during the entire length of the treatment.

What is the cancellation policy? If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require a 24-hour notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments

What if I am late for my appointment? Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, as your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied, regardless of late arrivals.

What about payment for Spa services? All major credit cards, traveler’s checks and personal checks with proper identification are accepted. Spa services can also be charged to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is accepted prior to treatments at the time of check-in. Please present discounts, gift vouchers and gift certificates at the time services are rendered. Discounts do not apply to spa packages, promotions, special events or holidays.

What about gratuities? For your convenience, a 20 percent service charge will be added to your service. If you choose, you may opt to leave additional gratuity for your therapist.

Cellular Phones: To preserve our tranquil setting, cell phones are discouraged.

Safety: For the safety of our guests and staff, we reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who appear intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs or inappropriate behavior. Please refrain from consuming any alcoholic beverage three hours prior to your appointment.

Health Questions

What if I have special health considerations? Please notify our Spa res-ervation department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

What if I am pregnant? While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa reservation agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

Prior To Arrival

How can I make a reservation? Reservations can be made by calling (305) 503-6533. We encourage you to reserve treatments at least one week in advance.

When should I arrive? For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our Spa.

What if I have a gender preference? If you prefer male or female therapist, please make your gender request when scheduling the appointment.

Should I shave before a treatment? Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treat-ments or hair removal services.

What should I wear during my treatment? Body treatments including hydrotherapy, scrubs and wraps must be performed with disposable undergarments or swimsuit. For massage and facial treatments, guests may undress to their level of comfort. Robes and slippers are provided. Lockers are available for your personal items.

What about my jewelry and valuables? If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the Spa facility.

Who can guide me in choosing my treatments? Our Spa reservation department will help you plan the perfect Spa experience, including the best order in which to enjoy your treatments.

Upon Arrival

What about my comfort? This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it’s the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please share your preferences with us. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in the spa.

Gift Certificates: You may purchase Conrad Miami Gift Certificates, which are redeemable in any of our hotel outlets and can be used towards spa services.

Fitness Center. Our Fitness Center offers a wide variety of cardiovascular and strength-training options, as well as locker room and sauna.

Spa Day Pass Includes the use of the locker area, access to our Fitness Center, sauna and pool.

Personal Training One-on-one session with a certified trainer who focuses on specific needs and provides guidance on achieving personal fitness goals. Reservations are recommended.
