Day 1 & 2 - USA to theHoly Land Your spiritual pilgrimagebegins as you depart theUSA, arrive in Tel Avivand transfer to Bethlehemfor dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Jericho & QumranVisit the Baptismal Site at Qasr el Yehud, the traditional site ofthe baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. Journey to Jericho, theoldest city in the world. Visit the ruins of the ancient city, whichwas conquered by Joshua (Josh. 6: 1), and view the traditional siteof the Temptation of Jesus (Matt.4:1). Travel to Qumran, siteof the Dead Sea Scroll discovery. End your day with a chance totake a dip in the mineral laden waters of the Dead Sea.

Day 4 - Herodion & Bethlehem Begin your day by viewing the Herodion, the fortified palace andfinal resting place of Herod the Great. Next, travel toBethlehem and visit the cave where Jesus was born (Matthew1:18). Look over the Shepherds’ Field where the Good Newswas first heard.

Day 5 - Caesarea, Mount Carmel & Megiddo Visit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre at Caesarea where Paulwas imprisoned before being taken to Rome for Trial. AscendMount Carmel where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal (IKings 18). Travel the ancient caravan route through the JezreelValley to Tel Megiddo where 20 different cities l iesuperimposed upon each other.

Day 6 - The Galilee Travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee(Matt.4:13). Travel to the Mount of Beatitudes where He spokethe words now known as the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5-7).Cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee and participate in aspecial onboard worship service. At Tabgha, the traditionallocation of the feeding of the 5000, you’ll visit the Church ofthe Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9:10). Pray in the Chapel of thePrimacy where three times Peter professed his devotion to therisen Christ (John 21).

Day 7 - Cana, Nazareth, Samaria & Jacob's WellBegin your day with a visit to Cana, the site of Christ's first miracle(John 2). Next, visit Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Matthew2:23). Continue past Tel Dothan, thought to be the place whereJoseph found his brothers with their flocks (Genesis 37). VisitSamaria, the capital of the Northern Kingdom, and home toAhab and Jezebel. See Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim wherethe Israelites recited the blessings and curses of the Law. Inmodern day Nablus (ancient Shechem) you will see Jacob's Wellwhere Christ encountered the Samaritan woman (John 4).

Day 8 - Jerusalem Stand atop the Mount of Olives and enjoy a remarkable view ofthe "Golden City" where, forty days after His resurrection, Jesusascended into heaven (Acts 1:9). Walk to the Garden ofGethsemane and pray beneath the 2,000 year old olive trees(Matt.26:36). On Mount Zion you will visit the Upper Room,revered as the site of the Last Supper (Mark 14:12) and St. Peterin Gallicantu where Jesus was imprisoned for a night (Matt. 26:57).

Day 9 - The Old City This morning, enjoy a walking tour of the Old City ofJerusalem. Walk the Cardo, once the main street of the city.Visit the Davidson Center and the Southern WallExcavations, including the Teaching Steps, and the WesternWall. View the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1) where Jesusperformed the Sabbath miracle and sing a hymn in the Churchof St. Anne. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress where Jesus wasbrought before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1). Walk the ViaDolorosa, "the Way of the Cross," and stand in reverence at theChurch of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Garden Tomb,where you will remember the sacrificial love of the Lord and theredemption of His Resurrection.

Day 10 - Ein Karem, Nebi Samuel, Emmaus & the Valley of Elah Travel to Ein Karem known as the birthplace of John theBaptist and the place where Mary visited Elisabeth (Luke 1: 26),Visit Nebi Samuel, thought to be the burial place of the prophetSamuel. On the road to Emmaus Jesus appeared to two of Hisdisciples following his resurrection (Luke 24:13). Finally, journeythrough the Valley of Elah, where David defeated Goliath (ISamuel 17).

Day 11 Return to the USA or Enjoy an Extension
