YORK CIUDAD EMBLEMÁTICA
Where is York?
York is one of England's beautiful historic cities, located in the north of England in the county of North Yorkshire. York has over 2000 years of history, preserved for us to see today in it's beautiful architecture. From The Romans, Vikings and Normans to the Georgians and Victorians, they have all left a lasting impression on our city.
The Abbey at York
The tower
William the Conqueror built two wooden castles in York, of which nothing remains but a piece of a replacement castle put up by Henry III in the thirteenth century: Clifford’s Tower, sitting starkly atop a grassy mound in the city center. This fragment of a strange, distant, warlike era still inspires a little dread, though it rises apparently serene above modern city streets and parking lots.
York Art Gallery combines a distinguished history of displaying fine paintings and ceramics with a modern-day welcome to all through a busy calendar of exhibitions, events and outreach work.

The East Front is one the finest examples of medieval architecture in England, and this Campaign aims to restore it to its full glory for generations to enjoy. The Campaign is supported by HRH Duke of York, who is acting as its Patron.

OXFORD CIUDAD DEL SABER
Oxford for ever
Christ Church
Christ Church is a unique institution, one of the largest colleges in the University of Oxford and at the same time the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Oxford.
The University of Oxford
As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, Oxford is a unique and historic institution. There is no clear date of foundation, but teaching existed at Oxford in some form in 1096 and developed rapidly from 1167, when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris.
