Attractions provide the most important reason for leisure tourism to a destination. Attractions are the focus for recreational and sometimes educational activities.

Natural attractions Mountains, rivers, lakes, national parks, beaches,

desert anything which has not been made by man.

Man-made attractions They are created for tourism purposes other times they are created for a significant reason that is not at all to do with tourism but to make a statement.
