    Cox's Bazar is atown, a fishing port and district

    headquarters in Bangladesh. It is known for its wide andlong sandy beach, which is considered by many as the

    world's longest natural sandy sea beach.[2][3] The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope. It is located 150 km south of

    the industrial port Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar is alsoknown by the name Panowa, whose literal tr anslation

    means "yellow flower." Its other old name was"Palongkee".

    St. Martin's Island is a small island(area only 8 sq. km) in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula, and

    forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. There is a small adjoining island that is separated at high tide, called Chhera island. It is about8 km west of the northwest coast of Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf River. The first settlement started just 250 years ago by some

    Arabian sailors who named the island ‘Zajira’. During British occupation the island was named St. Martin Island. The local names ofthe island are "Narical Gingira", also spelled "Narikel Jinjira/Jinjera", which means 'Coconut Island' in Bengali, and "Daruchini Dip".It is the only coral island in Bangladesh.

    Rangamati is the Administrative Headquarter of Rangamati Hill District i n the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh. The town is located at 22°37'60N 92°12'0E and has analtitude of 14 metres (49 feet).[1]It's a travel destination of Bangladesh which is known as "Lake City".From Chittagong a 77 km road amidst green fields and winding hills leads to Rangamati; which is a wonderful repository of scenic splendours with flora and fauna of varieddescriptions. The township is located on the western bank of the Kaptai lake. Rangamati is a favourite holiday destination because of its beautiful landscape, scenic beauty,lake, colourful indigenus groups (Chakma, Marma etc.), its flora and fauna, indigenous museum, hanging br idge, homespun textile products, ivory jewellery and theindigenous men and women who fashion them. For tourists, the attractions of Rangamati are numerous. Indigenous life, fishing, speed boat cruising, hiking, bathing ormerely enjoying nature as it is.

    The Sundarban is the largest littoral mangrove belt in the world, stretching 80km (50mi) into the Bangladeshihinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps though; they include some of the last remainingstands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. The Sundarban covers an area of 38,500 sq km,of which about one-third is covered in water. Since 1966 the Sundarban has been a wildlife sanctuary, and it isestimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer in the area.

    Sylhet is a major urban center innorth-east Bangladesh. It is the principalcity and administrative capital of SylhetDivision. The city is located on the banks of Surma River in the Barak Valleyand has a population of 500,000 people,making it the fourth largest city inBangladesh.

    Sylhet is known in Bengal as the "City ofSaints". It is home to the mausoleumsand mosques of Shah Jalal and ShahParan, Bengal’s most revered Sufi saints.Every year, the city r eceives hundredsand thousands of pilgrims to theDargahs of Shah Jalal and Shah Paran,earning a reputation as the "spiritualcapital of Bangladesh".[3] Sylhet is alsofamed for its natural setting, amidstrainforests, waterfalls, hills and rivervalleys.

    Located in the heart of Bangladesh’s teacountry, Sylhet is a hub of the teaindustry. Many Sylhetis have emigratedabroad over the years, and the cityreceives some of the highest annualremittance inflows in Bangladesh,particularly from the British Bangladeshicommunity. These remittances havefuelled a real estate and construction boom. Sylhet is also a center of theBangladeshi oil and gas sector, with thecountry’s largest natural gas reserves

    located in Sylhet Division.
