INTRODUCTION
This is a conceptual paper. This paper has made an attempt to understand the sources of
confusion in the minds of tourist. This is the first paper, which is dealing with the issues of “Customer
Confusion” in tourism industry, which termed as “Tourist Dilemma”.
WHAT IS CUSTOMER CONFUSION?
Walsh, (2002) has defined it as“Customer confusion is a state of mind that
leads to customers making imperfect purchasing decisions or lacking confidence in the correctness of their purchasing decisions”
WHAT IS TOURIST DILEMMA?
Authors of this paper has defined Tourist Dilemma as
“Tourist Dilemma is a state of mind that leads to tourist making imperfect decisions for visiting a destination or delaying their decisions. Which leads their further dissatisfaction.”
