A Flames of War tournament in a tank museum!

Aer an amazing 1st tournament held in the Park of Military History, we are pleasedto announce the 2nd TANK MAR! tournament in the same museum situated in Pivka,Slovenia. What has changed since the 1st tournament? The museum has built a newbuilding, tank course and extended their tank and gun collecon, with some interesngpieces of history like the Soviet SU-100, Brish Bofors 40 mm AA gun, American 155 mm

Long Tom and the legendary Flak 88. We have a very special surprise for all of theparcipants this year as well. Each parcipant will become a real life tank rideron oneof the museum's working tanks!

The tables are going to be setup between the WW2 exhibits which will give you an evenmore vivid feeling of being on a real balefield. The museums WW2 colleconincludes a M4A3 Sherman, M3A3 Stuart, T-34/85, M36 Jackson, M3A1 Scout Car, M8Greyhound and many more historical war gems. The museum also has a collecon ofsome more modern and older military pieces, tanks and guns. They also have aYugoslavian submarine (P-913 Zeta) on display! So grab your minis and uniforms andcome to the Sunny side of the Alps where the second Tank Mar! event will be held.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

- First round pairings will be randomly drawn. All of the next rounds will bedetermined by the Swiss system

- Missions will be selected randomly immediately before each round- Each game will have a me limit of 3 hours

th- Army lists must be submied to [email protected] 15 May- Official MW pdf briefings and army books can be used for your army composion

- Every tournament entry must include: Player's full name, Player's email addressthand an army list (can be submied later on, but not later than the 15 May)

TOURNAMENT SCORING

- The winner of the tournament will be determined by the amount of big points(Wins > small points)

- Tiebreakers will be determined by the amount of small points and then theFavored opponent votes if necessary

Our plan is to ensure that everybody will be able to play next to their favorite tank,howitzer, AT or flak gun, If you have a specific wish beside which WW2 exhibit youwould like to play a game, don't hesitate to let us know in your applicaon e-mail.Please check the website of Park of Military History for more informaon on themuseums WW2 exhibits.

PAYMENT

Payment includes: entry fee, lunch between the games on Saturday and Sunday and thetank ride. OPTIONAL: sleeping accommodaons + breakfast (the price deviateswhether you have one or two overnight stays)

The payment is divided into two categories: Early and Late payment. The differencebetween these two payments is in the end price. The sooner you apply and pay for thetournament the cheaper it will be for the applicant.The deadline for the Early paymentis unl 30th March. The Late payment starts on the 1st April and lasts up unl the 30thApril. Since the amount of players is limited the spots will be reserved on the principleof First come, first serve. Your applicaon on the tournament is not a guarantee you

will get a spot, however a confirmed payment will give you a green light and a reservedspot.

Late payment:

- Entry fee: 35- Entry fee + 1 overnight stay (includes breakfast): 65- Entry fee + 2 overnight stays (includes breakfast): 95

The payment procedure will be over Paypal. Informaon about the payment will begiven to you when you apply to the tournament via e-mail.

ACCOMODATION

We have carefully picked two places (Restaurant and pizza place Herman and Farmhouse Na meji) where players will be able to stay. Unfortunately we could not find a

place where all of the players could stay at once, but both places are very close to thePark of Military History where the tournament will be held. The accommodaonprice includes a bed and breakfast, wireless internet and a LCD tv. The rooms are mostlydouble-bedded rooms. In case you would like to have a room all for yourself, let us knowand we will contact the guest house for the new price. In case you would rather stay ina hotel in Postojna (14 km away from the venue) let us know as well.
