The Housing Fair Provides Information, Ideas and Experiences for the HomeThe Finnish Housing Fair Co-operative is a non-profit organisation. In co-operation with its partners, it aims to improve Finns’ quality of living and knowhow within the trade in Finland. Through its multi-channel operations it also aims to provide information on housing to the general public and other interest groups.

Visitors to the annual Housing Fair are shown the extensive spectrum of housing and living, while the Holiday Housing Fair, which is arranged less frequently, showcases the latest develop-ments in holiday living. New locations, current themes and contemporary contents guarantee that visitors are always provided with up-to-date information, new ideas and experiences.

The message of solutions and ideas for good living is expressed more strongly than ever, including on the internet at www.asuntomessut.fi.

Together in PartnershipHousing Fairs and Holiday Housing Fairs are always organised alongside the host municipality. Each event is allocated an individual theme that provides the guidelines for design and construction.

The Finnish Housing Fair Co-operative organises these operations in close co-operation with the host municipality. The Finnish Housing Fair Co-operative Organisation is responsible for marketing the event and nationwide promotion, technical issues, general public services and the continuous development of the concept of Housing Fairs. In turn, the host municipality is responsible for land use planning and public utilities for the area, along with car parking facilities during the fair.

Multi-faceted co-operation exists between the various partners and other organisations involved. There is close co-operation with developers, builders, interior designers, landscapers and exhibitors.

The Housing Fair is a market place for providers of various services, such as construction and renovation companies, interior and garden designers, research facilities, and housing organisations and associations. To partners, Housing Fairs are increasingly an environment fostering innovation, research and development.

The Housing Fair Provides Ideas and Information for LivingThe Housing Fair is not only the largest housing and living event in Finland, it is also a significant idea bank and marketplace both in the real world and on the internet. Every year, for four weeks in July-August, various living solutions and residential areas are showcased at the Housing Fair. The needs of different demographical groups are taken into consideration at the planning stage and a wide range of building, renovation, interior design and landscaping solutions are presented every time.

There are several Housing Fair Clinics, where visitors can learn about building, renovation, interior design and landscaping, alongside issues relating to energy and internal air. The best specialists in the business are there to answer visitors’ questions during the event. All of the latest living trends and innovations can be seen and experienced by the public at the Housing Fair.

Fun is on offer at the Housing Fair. There is something for everyone, presentations, services and experiences – even for the family’s youngest members. The Housing Fair is a true exhibition of living, and Housing Fair partners are there to present the latest trends to all visitors.
