The Fulton County Health Department considers any pool that services more than two residences a commercial pool. Because the pool is considered commercial there are a very limited number of light colors that can be used to surface the pool. This was a surprise to both us and the pool contractor who has been installing pools for 25 years in Fulton County. Once the pool has been drained the contractor will begin resurfacing it with the same material but in a very light color and the pool will be down seven to ten days.

Pool Closing

The pool will be closed sometime shortly after the 4th of July. The Fulton County Health Department considers any pool that services more than two residences a commercial pool. Because the pool is considered commercial there are a very limited number of light colors that can be used to surface the pool. This was a surprise to both us and the pool contractor who has been installing pools for 25 years in Fulton County. philanthropic heritage as well as highlight Georgia’s historical and aesthetic relevance to the United States

and to the world. The Gate is a classically styled monumental arch located in Atlanta, historically called

“The Gate City.” It is designated in the tradition of classical Roman triumphal arches that have been built

around the world over the past 2,500 years, and houses a 12,000 square foot museum that narrates

Georgia’s history through sophisticated interactive technology, film, period rooms, and exhibitions. The

Museum is a 501c (3) non-profit charity and a winner of the Palladio Award for design of a public space.

Recycling Glass

Most glass bottles and jars produced in the United States now contain at least 27% recycled glass. However,

it’s important to keep in mind as you recycle that even small amounts of some materials mixed in can contam-

inate entire loads Thus, cleaning glassware of contaminates is absolutely essential. Soap and water should be

used or better yet use your dishwasher. Take the lids and caps off. Do not place glassware in a plastic bag!

Contamination can spoil the whole bin.

These items should be placed in the container labeled GLASS:

Clear (flint) glass

Brown (amber) glass

Green (emerald) glass

DO NOT RECYCLE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

Ceramics, heat-resistant glass, such as Pyrex, mixed colors of broken glass, mirror or window glass, crystal.

MAINTENANCE CORNER

Do not keep your patio doors open while you are running the air conditioning, for long periods. Doing so will cause the moisture to drip from

the ceiling vents, causing the ceiling area around the vent to stain.
