New Delhi, the 7th December, 2017
G.S.R. 1496(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub- section (2) of section 141 of the Border Security Force Act, 1968 (47 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Border Security Force, Water Wing, Group -‘B’ (Combatised Technical Staff) post, Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely: -
1. (1) These ailes may be called the Border Security Force, Water Wing, Group -‘B’
(Combatised Technical Staff) post, Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2017.
(2) • They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Border Security Force Water Wing Group -‘B’(Conbatised Technical Staff) post, Recruitment Rules, 2012,-
(a) in rule 3, for the words “ pay band and grade pay or pay scale” at both the places, the words “'level in the pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(b) in the Schedule,-
(i) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Inspector (Master),-
(A) for column (4) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely

“level -6 ( Rs. 35400-112400/-) in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(ii) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Inspector (Workshop),-
(A) under column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :-

(B) in column (11),-
(T) in the entries under heading “Promotion”, Note 2 shall be omitted;
