The 2019 TPMA Southwest Foot and Ankle Conference is intended for licensed podiatric physicians and their assistants to develop and improve the podiatric knowledge and competency to better serve the citizens of Texas and the surrounding states. Throughout the program, the above-mentioned target participants will learn about various foot and ankle pathologies and their evidence-based treatment option via lectures, case discussion, hands-on workshop, poster and manuscript presentation formats. Safety, efficacy, cost effectiveness and quality improvements of multiple aspects of clinical podiatric management will be discussed. Program, schedule, and CE contact hours are subject to change without notice. Speakers and sponsors are required to disclose significant financial relationships and provide disclosure and written agreements to TPMA with any and all commercial products discussed during the presentation per CPME 720 guidelines.

DPM PROGRAM OBJECTIVES Attendees will be educated on the differential diagnosis, treatment options, and potential complications of various foot and ankle conditions.

ASSISTANTS PROGRAM OBJECTIVESThe Texas Podiatric Medical Association is pleased to present the completely re-vamped Podiatric Medical Assistant Track at the 2019 Southwest Foot & Ankle Conference. The program offers educational tracks for front office personnel, back office personnel and office managers as well as combined tracks. The moderators/speakers will include: doctors, practice administrators, certified pedorthist, a marketing expert, and certified surgical technologist just to name a few. Program Co-Chairs Dr. Jason Miller and Dr. Christopher Browning re-designed the course with a vision of offering an information packed, high value, intense two-day program allowing participants to learn techniques on increasing practice revenue, streamlining office processes, improving office communication and improving patient satisfaction in their practices. The program is designed to allow participants to exchange information in a relaxed but stimulating group setting and network with other participants from podiatric practices from around the states. Many of the sessions will be informal round table discussions to allow brainstorming/sharing of ideas and some will include hands-on demonstrations.
