TPS is used for new or existing employees/temps/consultants/vendors to request all technology needs. You will be able to request or modify access to a Pearson system, requests or modify access to a Pearson application and purchase hardware and/or software. In this case, we will focus on how to use TPS to request/modify/delete a Documentum account.

To access the TPS site go to: http://usoldt-vm-012j.peroot.com/tps/

You will use the following login information:

DOMAIN: your domain

USER NAME: u42 or v42

PASSWORD: your network password

Under WHO IS THIS REQUEST FOR? select yourself or Other Employee/Worker depending on who the request is for

and then select Request or Modify Access to a Pearson Application under SUBMIT REQUEST.

If filling this form out for someone else, you will search by last name and properly identify and select the user for whom this request is for.

At this point, select the proper job function and role, which are explained in detail at the end of this document.

NOTE: If this account is for a non-Pearson employee (such as a vendor or a freelancer), the email address for that person must be included in the Comments field. Account creation may be delayed if this is not done.

Now you will scroll the list of available applications, locating Documentum and selecting the action needed for the Documentum account: • Create (create a new Documentum account)• Modify (modify an existing Documentum account)• Delete (delete an existing Documentum account).

Now it is time to select an approving manager for this request, most likely your direct manager. You will search by last name and properly identify and choose the appropriate person.

The last screen will be a summary of the request and to complete the form you will need to fill out:• ARE THEY USING A PC OR MAC? Select the correct platform.• PEARSON APPLICATION SET-UP PIN: Type in the PIN of 1234. NOTE: This PIN is a mandatory field, but is not used.
