TR41-04-08-004 & T1A1/2003-165
TR-41.4 Published TSBs
TSB-146-2003: IP Telephony Support for Emergency
Calling Service– Addresses enterprise ECS calls placed from fixed,
mobile, remote dial-in, or wireless access VoIP terminals, including calls placed directly through an ISP. May apply to the non-enterprise environment as well. Does not address scenarios for devices connected to VoIP networks through VoIP gateways.
11
TR41-04-08-004 & T1A1/2003-165
TR-41.4 Draft Standards
Draft TIA-811-A: Performance and
Interoperability Requirements for Voice-over-IP (VoIP)
Feature Telephones– Requirements for the interoperability, acoustic
performance (including wideband), supplementary services support, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and environmental performance of VoIP Feature Telephones using SIP, H.323 or Megaco.

TR41-04-08-004 & T1A1/2003-165
TR-41.4 Projects Initiated Media Endpoint Discovery Standard
– Addresses interactions between VoIP endpoints and IP network infrastructure elements connected in IEEE 802 LANs, including link layer configuration and policy, device location, inventory management, and other useful properties. The standard will be based on extensions to IEEE 802.1AB™ "Link Layer Discovery Protocol" (LLDP).
Media Synchronization TSB– Discuss the issues related to inter-stream synchronization when
all the concerned media are offered using:• IP networks from end-to-end;• A combination of TDM and IP networks.
– Services that will be covered, but not limited to:• Video conferencing: using video and voice;• White boarding: using data and voice
