1. MAROPENG ... CRADLE OF HUMANKIND?

1.1 The Sterkfontein Caves. The first time Iwalked into the Sterkfontein Caves was as a 7/8-year old boy in 1954/55 ... in those days you stillcarried your primitive little (paraffin?) lamp inyour hand along with you. Later they progressedto battery-powered headlamps, and, today, theplace is subtly lit up like an ancient gothiccathedral ... what ambience! The cavernousrooms are saturated with the echoes ofreverberating silence and the aroma ofunapologetic antiquity. Sterkfontein remains oneof my favourite haunts, until this day.

1.2 Still Many Unanswered Questions!However, many questions still remainunanswered. If Sterkfontein near Johannesburg,were really the Cradle Of Humankind:

(a) Where Did The Pyramids Go? Where are itsgreat pyramids and ancient ruins, artifacts andrelics?Did the christian-creationists break in andsteal the evidence?

(b) Why No Language & Writing Systems?Where are the proofs of the first rudimentarylanguages, judicial systems, and themathematical & writing systems that have'evolved' there? Where are the clay tablets, thepapyrus scrolls, astronomical-observatories and

-instruments?

(c) Why No Earlier Civilisations? Where arethe proofs of its first rudimentary civilisationsspanning a period of 1,75 3 million years?What did Mrs. Ples and the rest of the'Flintstones' do all the time ... watch 'Oprah'?

(d) Why No Signs Of Development? Why noarcheological evidence of significant cultural-historical or technological development atSterkfontein ('Maropeng') in 'millions of years'?Why no significant historical development inSouth Africa at all ... at least (in embryonic form)comparable to that of the Fertile Crescent,Europe, Mexico, Peru, Indo-China, etc.?

(e) The Polonium-218 Radio-Halos In Granite.Why does Robert Gentry's research with thePolonium-218 Halo (a phenomenon observed bygeo-physicists microscopically in all granites)show that all the granites on our planet couldonly have coagulated within 3 minutes, and notover 'millions of years'? If the Earth were reallyformed out of redhot, molten lava (granite),then why do geo-physicists find that, when theymelt down granites and allow it to cool back tosolids, it never cools back to solid granite again,but to rhyolite? If Earth really originated frommolten granite the foundation-stone of our planetought to have been rhyolite, not granite.

(f) Trees, Coral Reefs & Deserts. If the Earthwere really 5 billion years old, why are theoldestliving trees (Sequoia Redwoods), the oldest andlargest coral reef (Australia's Great Barrier Reef)and the oldest and largest desert (Sahara) onlyabout 4 000 years old? Simple: It must havebeen really hard for an eco-sensitive coral reef,an indigenous forest or a dry desert to surviveunder the onslaught of a planetwide Flood about4 400 years ago ... a deluge with the impact ofprobably millions oftsunami's or the equivalent,according to geo-physicist Walt T. Brown, ofabout 8 billion hydrogen bombs.

2. THE AUSTRALOPITHECINES.

2.1 They Were All Apes. Much publicity havefollowed the discovery of skulls/fragmentsbelonging to the so-called Australopithecines,e.g.the Taung Child, Lucy, Mrs. Ples and others.What I find so distressing is that few people enjoyaccess to international literature whereinopinions sometimes differ widely from tht wemay encounter in the local, pro-evolution press.Some reputable scientists from elsewhere feel, forinstance, that the Australopithecines were nomore than apes.

2.2 Fraudulent Skull Measurements. Fraudu-lent measurements of certain skulls have e.g.apparently not been ruled out: (a) Overall, the

revisionary calculations ofAustralopithecine skulls have ledto reductions of their calculated volumes. The totalpercentage differences amount to 157,91 (Gerald Duffert, 'SomeImplications Of Variant Cranial Capacities For The Best-PreservedAustralopithecine Skull Specimens', Creation Research Society Quarterly, Sept.

1983, p.100). (b) The apelike profile ofAustralopithecus is sopronounced that its outline can be superimposed on that ofa female chimpanzee with a remarkable closeness of fit,and in this respect and others it stands in strong contrast tomodern man (J.S. Weiner, 'The Natural History Of Man',1973).(c) The hypothesis that brain enlargement marked thebeginning of man was long popular, but went out of fashionwith the discovery that the endocranial volumes of theAustralopithecine group were not larger than those ofgorillas. (Elwin L. Simons, 'Primate Evolution: An Introduction To Man'sPlace In Nature', p.278, 1972).

2.3 Keith's Rubicon? It would thus appear as ifthe dimensions of the Australopithecine-skulls(Adolescent = 430 cc./ Adult = 550 cc. - 600 cc.) all fallwell belowKeith's Rubicon (Sir Arthur Keith) of750 cc., the minimum 'homonid' skull-size toqualify as a probable 'ancestor' to humans. VanceFerrell B.A., M.A., B.D. says: The Australopithe-cines, like modern apes, had a wide range of varieties, butthey are all apes.('The Evolution Handbook', Evolution Facts Inc., p.539,2001).

3. FOSSILS CONFIRM THE GENESIS RECORDOF CREATION.

3.1 Fossilisation And The Biblical Flood. Isn'tit strange how so many fossils are found in sedi-

ment (e.g. Cretaceous) indicating a waterydemise? A prequisite for fossilisation is, amongstothers (a) Alkaline and damp soil and(b) Sudden burial under great pressure. Nowwhat could have better created these conditionsthan exactly the type of conditions associatedwith the BiblicalFlood?(alkaline and damp soil,and living organisms and plants suddenly buried,en masse, with great pressure underneath tons ofsediment). The rich Karoo Basin (RSA) alone isalleged to still contain billions of fossilisedremains of mammals and amphibians. Onesource actually states that it were as if theanimals were all trapped in mud (Peter Schirmer,'The Concise Illustrated Encyclopaedic History Of SouthernAfrica ', C.N.A.(1980).

3.3 The Evidence For The Biblical Flood IsOverwhelming. There are an estimated 100million (or more) catalogued fossils/fragments inthe World today ... and most of them are evidenceof a Biblical Flood about 4 400 years ago. Noevolutionist or paleontologist will ever be able tocomplain that Nature never provided them withexcellent evidence (fossils in sediment) for aprima facie case for Special Creation! Somesources estimate that 99% of the total animal-kingdom that ever existed had already goneextinct ... if that is correct, we have been left withonly 1% of the immense diversity and varietythat must have existed prior to the Biblical Flood.

This is, however, contrary to what EvolutionaryTheory teach ... i.e. that the animal kingdom weresupposed to have started with low diversity ( 1%?) and 'evolved' into higher diversity ( 99% ?)!

4. WHY EVOLUTION IS UTTERLY ANDIRREVOCABLY IMPOSSIBLE.

4.1 The Cambrian Explosion. The CambrianSedimentrepresents the lowest and most ancientof strata in the Evolutionists' so-called(Paleozoic) 'Geological Timetable', or the'Geologic Column' (Cenozoic, Mesozoic,Paleozoic etc.). According to EvolutionaryTheory, living organisms evolved from lowdiversity populations (uni-cellular) to highdiversity populations (multi-cellular) ... into themega-creatures that are supposed to roam theEarth today. Observation in the field, however,proves otherwise. Instead, we find, in theCambrian Sediment, the entire spectrum of awide variety (high diversity/multi-cellular)creatures ... distinct species already fullydeveloped and fully classifiable! And, below theCambrian, virtually nothing! This puzzlingphenomenon has been labeled by theflabbergasted evolutionists 'The CambrianExplosion'(We call it Genesis 1 ... Creation). Inother words, the 'Geologic Column'shows no signofEvolution at all.

4.3 Survival Of The Fittest Or The Luckiest?Evolution says that living organisms (includinghumans) started off small and evolved over'millions of years' into largercreatures ... but theFossil Recordshows that things used to be muchlarger in the past (remember the giants and thedinosaurs?) and are getting smaller, as ifeverything is on a degenerate path. The 'SurvivalOf The Fittest' philosophy is doing so 'well' thatsoon there will be nothing left! Furthermore,when a whale swallows 85% of a school of fish,was it a case of the survival of the fittest or thesurvival of the luckiest?

4.4 Evidence In A Court Of Law? ReputableEvolutionists have conceded that, amongst morethan 100 million catalogued fossil-specimens inthe World today, those fossils that they areprepared to exhibit as credible evidence forEvolution in a Court Of Law, are so skimpy it canall be (a) displayed on a single billiard table, andafterwards (b) removed in a single coffin ...exactly where it belongs (R.I.P.). IfEvolutionaryTheory were true, there would have been billionsof pieces of genuine, credible evidence strewnaround the hills and koppies of South Africa!Incidentally ... did you know that no respectableCourt will ever accept fossils or any fossil-fragment as bona fide evidence for so-called'Evolution'?

4.5 The French Taxonomist's Society. InFrance, the French Taxonomists (people whoclassify animals) have already, in the early 1960's,renounced Evolution as an unworkable theory.The very fact that animals can be classified andnamed at all proves Evolution fallacious ...according to the Theory there ought to be nodistinct, classifiable species at all, as evolutionistsallege that all living organisms are supposed to bein constantflux('busy evolving').

4.6 The Discovery Of DNA. Scientists whowork with DNA everyday of their lives willconfirm that Evolution across major species isimpossible, as the encoded DNA in major specieshave been issued with a built-in firewallforbidding it (it is a forbidden zone ... one ofmany in the physics of the Universe).

4.7 Who Took The Transitional Fossil?Observation in the field confirms this ... there areno transitional fossil-specimens ('between-species fossils') anywhere in the Word availableas evidence for scrutiny to prove Evolution hadtaken place. Did the christian-creationists breakin and steal the transitional fossil?

4.8 The First Law Of Thermodynamics. ThisLaw states that energy & matter can neither becreated nor destroyed. Energy and Matter are

Millions of years ago ... ! And how does a fairy talebegin the story?: Long, long ago ... ! Evolution is afairy tale for GROWNUPS who won't GROW UP.There minds have been fossilised by the pro-evolution 'scientists' in pseudo-academicsediment for over 150 years, since D arwin's book.

4.12 Fabrications & Misrepresentations. All thefollowing pieces of 'evidence for Evolution' wereeither fabrications or misrepresentations: (a)Ar-chaeopteryx (fabrication); (b) Java Man(misrepresentation: gibbon-ape); (c) Lucy(misrepresentation: pigmy-chimpanzee); (d) PiltdownMan (fabrication);(e) Peking Man (misrepresentation:ordinary humans); (f) Nebraska Man (misre-presentation: tooth of a pig); (g) Orce Man(misrepresentation: skull of a 4-month old donkey);(h) Mrs. Ples (misrepresentation: ape);(i) RhodesianMan (misrepresentation: ordinary human); (j) theTaung Child (misrepresentation: ape); (k) Neander-thal Man (misrepresentation: ordinaryhuman of immenseage probably suffering from Vitamin D-defiencydiseases/rickets/diabetes/arthritis).(l) The Evolutionistshave an unfortunate and embarrassing history offossil-evidence fabrication and/or misrepresen-tation, as we have already seen. The mostembarrassing I suppose was when a livespecimen of the so-called coelacanth ('extinct for 70million years'), suddenly showed up off the coast ofSouth Africa/Mocambique on 22 December 1938.Amazingly, (i) the live-specimen looked exactlylike the '70 million year' old fossil-specimen! (ii)Thus, no Evolutionary change had taken placeover '70 million years'! (What a nice Christmas-giftfor the atheists).

4.13 Institutionalised Atheism. Somebody hasremarked that Evolution is 'a great institution' ...that is, if you liked living in institutions! Perhapsthe time has arrived for the Evolutionists to dothe honourable thing and concede thatEvolutionary Theory is a Religious Cult, and notNatural Science.

4.14 Irreducible Complexity. This principledemands that living organisms must be fullyformed before they can operate as a viablespecies. For instance: (a) How long can anyliving organism, 'evolving' over many 'millions ofyears', afford to wait for its blood to learn toclot... musn't blood be able to clot instantly within amatter of minutes? (b) How long can the littlefish, squirting down his prey (dinner) with hislittle built-in water pistol, afford to wait for hisfood until he had learnt the rudiments of hiscraft ... musn't he be able to eat that sameevening? (c) How long can the baby-whale afford to wait until the mother-whale had develop-

ed and perfected a fully-functional (non-return)oneway-valve (nipple) for baby-whales to drinkfrom (under water)?5. ANATOMY OF A WORLDWIDE DELUGECALLED 'THE FLOOD'.

5.1 Flood Expectations? What could one haveexpected from the fossil evidence in sedimentarystrata if the Flood, and notEvolution, had causedthe rock-strata wherein fossils today are found?The questions below (including the responses = ) demonstrate how the Flood obviously musthave, en masse, caused Worldwide fossilisationapproximately 4 400 years ago, exactly the wayone would have expected it to do:

Were animals that lived on the LOWEST LEVELS alsoburied in the LOWEST STRATA? Were animals from the SAME ECOLOGICALCOMMUNITY buried TOGETHER? Were animals with the SIMPLEST FORMS buriedFIRST? [HIDROLOGICAL FORCES i.e. the sucking andpulling of fastmoving water would have sorted creatures withCORRESPONDING SHAPES]. Were (INVERTEBRATE) SEA CREATURES found inthe LOWEST STRATA as they live at the bottom of the sea?

Were the FISH found in HIGHER STRATA as it couldhave escaped through water to higher levels?

Were the FIRST LAND PLANTS found where theFIRSTS AMPHIBIANS were found? Were AMPHIBIANS and REPTILES found buriedHIGHER UP than FISHES, but LOWER than or BELOWLAND ANIMALS; and were very FEW LAND PLANTS andLAND ANIMALS found in the LOWER STRATA? Were ANIMALS and BIRDS in general found on HIGHERLEVELS than REPTILES and AMPHIBIANS? Were HERD ANIMALS that may have escapedTOGETHER found TOGETHER in the SAME STRATA? Were very FEW BIRDS found in STRATA as theyprobably would have escaped to HIGHER LEVELS? Were HEAVIER, STRONGER ANIMALS sortedSEPARATELY from WEAKER, SMALLER ANIMALS? Were very FEW PEOPLE (HUMANS) found inSTRATA?

4.2 Study The Fossil Record. Study the fossilrecord and see if the facts correspond with theabovementioned research results.

No one canadd to or take away from the total portfolio ofenergy & matter available in the Universe.Scientists (and ordinary people) may well be ableto harness and manipulate it, but that's all. 4.8 The Second Law Of Thermodynamics. ThisLaw states that the Universe is running down ...time's arrow points downwards. There is a LawOf Decay And Death at work in Nature, andrandom events like Evolution can never lead toOrder out of Chaos (low entropy), but always toChaos out Order (high entropy). Ultimately,everything dies and turns to dust. We mayperhaps delay the process by maintaining andcleaning things but nothing we do will stop theLaw.

4.9 Have The Evolutionists Gambled Their LastAnd Only Stamp? The hopes, dreams andillusions behind Evolutionary Theory arefounded on the same hopeless mathematical

probabilities as the forces driving gambling andbetting ... the result, in the long-term, isinvariably shame, not success. Evolution, if it

were true, will have had to rely solely on luck.

4.10 An Intelligent First Cause. The Universeis like a huge old grandfather-clock windingdown ... it too must, eventually, stop ticking,decay and die. But then, Who wound it up in thefirst place? Thus, the very existence of the SecondLaw Of Thermodynamics demands the existenceof a Creator, an Intelligent First Cause.

4.11 What Do The Mathematicians Say?Mathematicians have already, during the 1966Wistar Symposium (USA), told the Evolutionists

that Evolution is mathematically not feasible.Why won't they accept the verdict? Themathematical laws of probability have beenprogrammed by the Creator to work againstevolution, not with it. Had the laws ofprobability been programmed to actually workwith evolution, most of us would have beendiabolical mutations that looked movie-monstersfrom hell. Be honest ... have you ever observed(either experimentally or coincidentally) a dogbeing born from a non-dog; or a finch from anon-finch; a peppered moth from a non-moth; abird from a reptile, or a handsome prince froman ugly frog? Don't worry ... me neither. Howdoes the evolutionistusually begin his story?:
