Project Description Entails development of new module for trademark publication and registry.
Features Improved facility for forwarding of communication,
encoding of affidavit of use and recordal that conforms to current workflow and data requirements.
Pre-filled up and revised Office Action Template.
Facilitate complete workflow of cancellation of registered trademarks from automatic generation of trademarks for cancellation up to “Finally Cancelled” status.
Features Generation of list of Recordal for publication in the e-
gazette Facilitate encoding of DAU 3 years. Adjustable TM certificate. Real-time access to corresponding payments done in
FMS. More specific remarks for publication and post registry
work flow, which can be seen in Progress Query. Provision to view bibliographic data of registered
trademarks including the digitized documents. Link with IP Adjudication System, which validates if
trademark has no pending case/s filed in ODG/BLA.
Objectives To provide an improved interface.
To eliminate use of different separate modules to update TEAMS database (e.g. PTASD, TBAC, PUB-JO, etc).
To provide real time link to FMS & IPAS database.
To provide a day-to-day cancellation of those registered marks where equivalent electronic data are complete and accurate.
Methodology
MIS Technical Team will be conducting series of meetings and interviews for data gathering and validation.
There is a constant user validation in each phase of development. It requires review from project counterparts and sign-off to signify approval on the next activities.
