According to Edwin B Flippo, “ Training is the act of

increasing the knowledge and skills of an employee for

doing a particular job.

It gives benefits both for employees and for the workers.

It improves the skills and efficiency.

Trained personnel are valuable assets for the organization.

Training imparts greater job security and an opportunity for

advancement of employees.
