Simply put, minimum of 4 cores within a virtual environment or all physical cores within a physical environment, some conditions may apply depending on infrastructure.

This really depends on if access is available for both corporate and non-corporate devices, the easiest solution to this is stick to user based licensing, in essence you will require a Desktop

Operating System with Software Assurance (SA) or Virtual Desktop Access License plus Office with Software Assurance for access from a non-corporate device.

This depends on many things, what your plans are for the future whether you have a cloud strategy in place, what your technology roadmap looks like, do you require SA, there is no one right answer and it is important to speak to a specialist to guide you through the multitude of agreements available.

Simply put, minimum 8 cores per processor or minimum 16 cores per server, all cores must be licensed.

SA is often thought of as a benefit, these days however it is a requirement and most definitely required with a virtual or VDI environment.

This two-day training course prepares the individual and their organisation for the management of mobile devices and uncovers a complexity to ITAM that has never been seen before in the IT environment. Designed to arm you with the knowledge you need to seamlessly manage personnel, policies and procedures, this course encompasses both organisational owned assets as well as BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).

Mobile Asset Management is extremely important to organisations today. In the past, all assets were primarily introduced into the organisation through the IT group and outside influences for technology upgrades and enhancements came through the business units as a recommendation only. Historically speaking, the direction of IT was controlled by the IT experts within the enterprise, but with

the consumerisation trend, devices are smaller, fully functional and easy to operate and flooding the corporate environment.

The course will prepare you with the knowledge to manage personnel, policies, and processes, the key elements in organisational IT management. It will also encompass both organisational owned assets as well as BYOD. As with all IAITAM courseware, this has the IAITAM Best Practice Library as its foundation and encompasses financial viability, risk mitigation, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management of mobile assets.

Although no experience is required for this course, some experience with contracts and lifecycle is beneficial. The materials encompass the concepts that address the needs of the mobile IT Asset Manager

Designed to prepare individuals to manage the IT asset disposal process within an organisation, this training course breaks down best practices within IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).

The CITAD delves into the issues surrounding disposition options, legislative impact, environmental stewardship and a value driven approach to asset end-of-life. ITAD best practices, financial return, data security global implications and the importance of vendor management are just a few of the topics incorporated in the CITAD course. With IAITAM’s ITAD Best Practices, ITAD will no longer be viewed as corporate overhead, but rather a profit center and area of risk mitigation.

Today IT Asset Disposition is more than a waste product for an organisation. Numerous options for disposal are available to the enterprise. Savings opportunities from

equipment reuse, software redeployment and resale provide savings opportunities and possibly pay for or afford a positive cash flow for the ITAD process. Along with opportunities and savings are risks associated with mishandled, lost or stolen assets caused by improper oversight. At any step during the ITAD process, errors can and do occur and organisations can be subject to fines, penalties and public disgrace.

The CITAD Course is designed for those individuals with minimal to no experience in the field of Asset Management. It is essential learning for those responsible for ITAD programs and other IT professionals involved in Asset Management, resource budgeting, finance, software licensing, contract management and strategic planning. Although there are no prerequisites, some knowledge of an organization's life-cycle management is encouraged.

The ITAM Foundations Course is designed to impart an extensive overview of IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices and processes as well as ways to embrace multiple organisational frameworks such as ITAM & IT Service Management (ITSM)

The use of technology in business has grown extensively over the past three decades and continues to grow exponentially on a daily basis. With that growth comes the need for ITAM as well as the understanding of what ITAM is, the benefits it brings to an

organisation and how it crosses all functional business areas.

This course will educate you on each of the IAITAM Best Practice Library’s 12 Key Process Areas (KPAs), the roles and responsibilities that affect an ITAM program, core functional areas, KPA indicators, strategic positioning, and how ITAM can be brought into other frameworks such as ITSM so that they work together in the most efficient way for an organisation thus producing a greater ROI for its IT portfolio.
