Make an agenda!
This helps your learners
know what will be
expected of
them during the session.

Have a hypothesis and a formula for what you are teaching.
![Page 7: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
"If you can't explain somethingsimply, you don't understand it well
enough." Einstein
Become an expert yourself before youtry to teach others.
![Page 8: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Practice what youteach.
Be ready forquestions.
![Page 9: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
Master the art of questions.Give your students a safe forum to ask questions.
Table items you need to look into.
![Page 10: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Don't over-teach it. Let them drive. There is nothing like hands on
experience to learn something new.
![Page 11: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Once they get it, do itagain... and again.
Repetition is a great teacher
![Page 12: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Don't guess...Test and Assess
The best way to know if your learnersunderstand and are ready to move on is to
provide a chance for assessment along the way. Assessments also ensure you can reinforce as you go.
![Page 13: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Got a case of sleepy learners?
Learn how to keep them engaged!
![Page 14: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Add some fun! Don't just class-roomteach. Its hard to learn sitting in a
chair and listening all day.
Brainteasers!
Puzzles!
Team Projects

Don't underestimate the impact a break can have.Pepper breaks in along with additional activities
that get your learners up and moving whenever theclass gets restless or seems overwhelmed.
![Page 16: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
Mix it up.You may have a goal of "x"amount of lecturing for a
certain module, but it'simportant to read your
students.If they are disengaged, they
won't be learning.
Be flexible ...you'll end up with the same orbetter results (participants with knowledge!)
using a mixed variety of training methods.
![Page 17: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Keep an open mind. Some people learn differently.
Change and adjust as you need to.
![Page 18: Training as an Art and a Science](https://reader031.vdocument.in/reader031/viewer/2022030402/588414a71a28ab95518b65f9/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
Staying current willincrease your credibility!
Update and refresh yourmaterials.

Break through!
Just remember,its their
training...notyours. Adjust,
change and moldit to fit your
learner!
