Yosemite is an amazing place. It has mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers and the highest waterfalls in America. The wildlife is amazing, too – most of all the huge trees. Some are 90 metres tall. When people started cutting down the trees and damaging this beautiful place, the United States decided to make Yosemite a National Park back in 1890.
