“Training Need Assessment is the systematic effort that we make to gather
opinions and ideasfrom the project stakeholders on
performance problems or new systems and technologies”
Training Need Assessment
A training need exists when there is a gap between what is required of a person to perform their work competently and what they actual know
Training Need Assessment
A “training needs assessment”, or “training needs analysis”, is the method of
determining if a training need exists and if it does, what training is required to fill the gap.
“A needs assessment is the process of identifying performance requirements and the "gap" between what performance is
required and what presently exists.”
