Introduction:In view of the fact that the aspirations and objectives of governments and private sector institutions seek to improve living standards of the Arab citizen, give priority to joint Arab investments, and enable the private sector and civil society to participate in the socioeconomic development and growth process and develop the sectors of production, business, and services, as well as social projects and environment protection,

Bearing in mind that all facets of social development, with emphasis on education and human development, are the main elements for achieving the overall development objectives and elevating human potentials of the Arab citizens, in line with the millennium development goals of 2015 and the objectives agreed on internationally to eliminate poverty. Moreover, they are crucial in widening the scope of empowerment and job opportunities for women and youth, advancing health and education, increasing real incomes, developing education to catch up with the fast developments in science and technology, and promoting educational organizations to guarantee effective performance of their mission,

Realizing that poverty reduction can be actualized by advancing the main wealth represented by the human element, promoting education level and linking it with development requirements, supporting rehabilitation, training and employment programs for manpower, raising the level of qualification and production of Arab manpower to meet the requirements of labor markets, and providing further job opportunities in the different economic sectors,

In response to the above, hand in hand with our awareness of the vitality of training as one of the best means and tools for human development, we have dedicated our efforts to achieve these objectives as demonstrated in this catalogue, which serves as a brief summary of our programs, training projects and international professional certificates, in an attempt to make all our expertise and tools available for Arab citizens wherever they are in order to achieve the potentials of Arab individuals and organizations alike, for the benefit of our dear Arab World.

The International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA)

The International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA)

IntroductionThe International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) was established on January 12, 1984 as a non-profit professional accounting association in London, UK. It was formally registered in Amman on February 24, 1994 under the name “The Arab Society of Certified Accountants”.

The notion of establishing IASCA was proposed by a group of elite Arab accountants which aims at advancing the profession of accounting, auditing and other related disciplines in the countries of the Arab League. IASCA also aims at maintaining the professional independence of Arab accountants and their protection, as well as the application of professional supervisory measures as a way to elevate the professions of accounting and auditing. It also aims at developing and facilitating the continuous spread and exchange of professional and technical information among accountants by holding conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses and academic gatherings.

IASCA has gained a recognized professional position at both the Arab and the international levels. Based on its concern for developing accounting and auditing professions in the Arab world to the highest international professional levels, IASCA has started, since its inception, to monitor laws and legislations related to these professions looking for a role for Arab accountants at international forums. As such, IASCA works at providing the Arab world with Arab accountants with academic and practical qualifications that are at par with established international qualifications. IASCA also keeps pace with economic events, and develops and publishes new financial and business concepts and ideas in order to provide its members and associates with the ability and means to follow the latest developments and innovations in their fields and to excel in the professions of accounting and auditing.
