Excerpts from Friday, June 2 A group of saints in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who have been commuting to our church in Chicago, Illinois (now Worth, Illinois) for years, rejoiced this past Sunday as a morning worship service was held for the first time in Milwaukee. This report of the event was sent by one of the saints from Worth:

Rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of the saints as we arrived in Milwaukee for the first-ever Sunday Apostolic Faith Church service in that location. Boniface Osunkwo, whose family lives in Milwaukee and has been driving to Chicago for eleven years to attend our church there, met and welcomed us to a nice facility that was offered free of charge for our use. Many visitors came from the area as well as a group of saints from our church in Madison, Wisconsin, and one from Bloomington, Indiana. The service was well attended by around eighty people.

Excerpts from Monday, June 5 On Wednesday, our team in Romania enjoyed an evening service at our Bucharest church. The congregation is anticipating the completion of a new church building at this location later this year.

The team made several home visits Thursday afternoon in Coroteni, a new outreach area about ten miles north of our church in Rimnicu Sarat. Twice a week, one of the ministers from the Rimnicu Sarat church visits to hold meetings. A church is being built in Coroteni, and our team participated in an evening service in the unfinished building (pictured). John Musgrave reported that the sanctuary had a capacity of about thirty, and by the end of the service it was more than filled with several standing outside. Many in attendance were in need of salvation, so he was happy to see that everyone stayed to pray.

Excerpts from Tuesday, June 6 The saints in Melbourne, Australia, marked a new milestone when they held their first children’s church service on Sunday evening, June 4. Several who participated in the service had received salvation during last year’s camp meet-ing in Sydney, Australia, and the weekend of revival meetings that followed in Melbourne. Most of the testimonies were of how the Lord had helped and kept them. However, Sam Ajayi said that one little boy testified to being glad that his mother is happy.

“God saved me July 6, 2005, after the first Wednesday morning teaching at camp meeting, and I’m thankful He has kept me for twelve years. Something recent I’m thankful for is that I have a different job now. It has been almost a year since I graduated and I’ve been praying for a job. This new job is not what I had in mind, but I’ve been praying so I trust that this is what the Lord wants me to have.” –Russell Mathews

“Thinking about Pentecost reminded me of a revival that the Lord gave me one year at camp meeting. I was sixteen years old and I told God, ‘I know You gave me my baptism, but I need something

so thankful for the power that is in the Gospel.” –Natalie Tonning

“I’m thankful I have a testimony that goes back to when I was in high school. I can point to a specific time when I reached out to God with just an honest prayer, ‘Lord, I’m so sorry for the life that I’ve lived. I need You in my life; I need Your presence and Your guidance,’ and right there God met me and put my life on a completely different trajectory.

“God has answered so many prayers in the past ten years. He gave me a job and a perfect opening for school. I was really stressing about it, but He worked out all the details. I’m thankful for the Gospel and that it is the foundation in my life, and I love to serve Him.” –David Warberg

I remember going to the altar and feeling weary. I told the Lord, ‘I’m hungry for You, and I’m tired, and I don’t know what to do.’ The Lord gave me the verse, ‘They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength,’ so I decided I was just going to wait.

“On the last night of camp meeting, as I prayed the Lord called one more consecration and I gave it to Him, and in that instant He filled me. I spoke in another language and I couldn’t stop. It was so real! It is still the same today—there is an open channel so that I can talk to God whenever I need Him. I am
