The fund provides nonrenewable scholarships in the amounts of $1,000 - $2,000. The 2018 2019 academic year online scholarship application opens September 15, 2017 on the NPGA website. Scholarship Recipients (in alphabetical order): RAVEN AIKEN - Al Darr Memorial Scholarship Raven Aiken is a sophomore Instrumental Music Education major at Carson New- man University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. On the path to becoming a band direc- tor, Raven is active in several instrumental ensembles on campus including wind en- semble, marching band, chamber orchestra, marching band, and brass quintet. She is the Vice President of Carson Newman's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society and a member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Omicron, an Interna- tional Music Fraternity. Raven's mother, Robin Proffitt, is the Marketing Manager at Powell Clinch Utility District in Rocky Top, Tennessee. She has also been working as an orthodontic technician for three years and worked in her father’s towing and propane company for four years before that oh yes, and she is only 21! Tori is passionate about helping others and being a positive influence on everyone around her. That is why she chose a career in dental hygiene because it will always be a career filled with making a difference and cre- ating happiness while doing so! Meet the 2017-2018 NPG Foundation Scholarship Recipients

$129,500 in Scholarships to 92 Recipients for the 2017-2018 Academic Year

The National Propane Gas Foundation Scholarship Fund aims to foster educational opportunities for the children of National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) member companies by offering scholarships to colleges or vocational/technical schools. The fund provides nonrenewable scholarships in the amounts of $1,000 - $2,000. The 2018 – 2019 academic year online scholarship application opens September 15, 2017 on the NPGA website.

Scholarship Recipients (in alphabetical order):

RAVEN AIKEN - Al Darr Memorial Scholarship Raven Aiken is a sophomore Instrumental Music Education major at Carson New-man University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. On the path to becoming a band direc-tor, Raven is active in several instrumental ensembles on campus including wind en-semble, marching band, chamber orchestra, marching band, and brass quintet. She is the Vice President of Carson Newman's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society and a member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Omicron, an Interna-tional Music Fraternity. Raven's mother, Robin Proffitt, is the Marketing Manager at Powell Clinch Utility District in Rocky Top, Tennessee.

KIRSTYN ALLEN - Robert Olson Memorial Scholarship Kirstyn Allen recently graduated as Valedictorian of Mancelona High School, which is located in a small town in Northern Michigan. Throughout high school, she participated in four years of varsity track and was on a competi-tive dance team. Kirstyn also was a member of the National Honor Society. In the fall she will attend Ferris State University, in Big Rapids, Michigan, as a member of their Honor's College. Kirstyn will major in biology with a focus on optometry. She has also been working as an orthodontic technician for three years and worked in her father’s towing and propane company for four years before that – oh yes, and she is only 21! Tori is passionate about helping others and being a positive influence on everyone around her. That is why she chose a career in dental hygiene – because it will always be a career filled with making a difference and cre-ating happiness while doing so! Hunter spends much of his time volunteering either at a Language Program helping teach English as a Second Language, the local soup kitchen, or the university’s student government association. His goal is to graduate from Johnson University with a degree in Preaching and Church Leadership and attend either Duke or Vanderbilt Divinity School to obtain a master degree in Divinity. ISAAC BUSH - NPGA Scholarship Isaac was born and raised in a small town in Indiana called Flat Rock. He has lived there his whole life and recently graduated from Southwestern High School. Isaac is a hard worker and does his best to succeed to the best of his abilities. He has been a leader in multiple clubs such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Stu-dent Council, and Peer Tutoring Network. Isaac also played varsity baseball and tennis. He was the Valedictorian of his Class of 2017. Isaac will be attending the University of Indianapolis and double majoring in Actuarial Science and Finance. His ultimate goal is to become a senior actuarial advisor or Chief Financial Officer. His father, Larry Bush II, is a Truck Driver for Shelby Bottled Gas in Shelbyville, IN.

ALAURA CERVINI - Joe and Naomi Cordill Scholarship Alaura Cervini, the daughter of Chanda Cervini, attends Southeastern Louisiana Uni-versity where she is managing a double major in Dance and Social Studies Education. This fall she starts the exciting role as a Resident Assistant. Alaura participates in the Dance Performance Project, a student led organization that puts on showcases with the assistance of Department Head Keith Costa. Alaura received the honor of becoming a student choreographer and is choreographing for the Fall 2017 Mainstage show. The NPGF Scholarship will help Alaura maintain her education and the activities that are important to her. Her mother is a customer relations representative for AmeriGas Pro-

pane LP in Jefferson, LA.

DELAYNEE CONTELLA - Al Darr Memorial Scholarship Delaynee Contella will be a sophomore at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is studying Child and Family Studies to become a pediatric medical social worker. She will be volunteering at Erlanger, the children’s hospital in Chattanooga. Delaynee also plans to be more involved with her church in Chattanooga, going on mission trips and attending the college group, “The Bridge.” Her hobbies include photography, staying healthy, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Her father, Michael Con-tella, is an Infrastructure Analyst for Manchester Tank and Equipment in Franklin, TN.

KOLBY CURRIN - Pacific Propane Gas Association Scholarship Kolby Currin recently graduated from Heppner High School and plans to attend Blue Mountain Commu-

nity College in the fall where he will study agricultural business. Kolby was the president of his high school’s National Honor Society, the vice-president of the Heppner FFA Chapter and the vice-president of Heppner’s Future Business Leaders of America. Kolby also participated in high school rodeo, football and basketball for four years. In his free time Kolby enjoys working on the family’s ranch, hunting, fishing, and roping. Kolby would like to thank the NPG Founda-tion and its scholarship sponsors for helping make his educational goals possi-ble. His mother, Lisanne Currin, is the Chief Financial Officer for Morrow County Grain Growers in Lexington, OR.

ZANE DAVIS - Marie Daniels Memorial Scholarship Zane Michael Davis is a 2017 honors graduate of Block High School in Jones-ville, Louisiana. He has participated in the Block Band since 6th grade playing the trombone, baritone/euphonium and percussion. He made 1st chair eupho-nium in the Louisiana State Honor Band for 2017. He is a member of the Na-tional Honor Society. He has also been a member of 4H for eight years and a Jr. Leader for three years. He has participated as a 4H camp counselor for two years. Zane has been accepted to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where he plans to major in Finance. His father, Mi-chael Davis, is a Route Salesman for Southern LP Gas, Inc. in Jonesville, LA.

EMMA DEBLONK - Trinity Containers Scholarship Emma deBlonk is a proud Aggie attending Texas A&M University in College Sta-tion, Texas. Starting her sophomore year in the fall, she will be studying Civil Engi-neering, and she plans to later specialize in environmental or water resources within the major. During her freshman year, she served on the Visual Arts Commit-tee, was awarded the Mechanics Scholar title, became a physics teaching assis-tant, and earned an overall 4.0 GPA. In her spare time, Emma likes to catch up with her friends and draw to unwind from long days. Her mother, Michele Ridings, is an Accounting Manager for Gas Equipment Company, Inc. in Dallas, TX.

KORTNI DOANE - The Mollie Reifschneider/Elaine Ruhl/Manchester Tank & Equipment Scholarship Kortni is a recent graduate of Mitchell High School in Mitchell, Indiana. She was an active member of, and held offices in, Tri-Hi-Y, SADD, Student Coun-cil, in addition to her local 4-H Poultry and Goat Clubs. She also participated in Fresh Start Peer Leaders, Pep Club, Art Club, and Academic Team, all while holding a job in the local JCPenney. Kortni has been accepted into Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, where she will study Biology and attend medical school. This scholarship will help lighten the weight of college expenses and she is extremely thankful for it. Her father, Darrell Doane, is a Welder for Manchester Tank and Equipment in Bedford , IN.

GABRIELLE DOLANSKY - Suburban Propane Scholarship Gabrielle Dolansky will be a senior at Salisbury University in Maryland. Gabrielle is studying Elementary

Education with a minor in Psychology. Gabrielle was a member of the Education Club, Elementary Education Living Learning Community, and Salisbury Univer-sity’s club field hockey team. Gabrielle is a life-long member of the Freshman Honor Society Phi Eta Sigma, and also a member of the Education Honor Soci-ety Kappa Delta Pi; Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi; Salisbury University’s Dean’s List; Girls on Top of The World (a volunteer organization); and is a methods stu-dent in a fourth grade classroom. Gabrielle is honored to receive this scholarship and it is a representation of her hard work at school and in the community. Ga-

brielle’s father, Christopher Dolansky, is a service technician for Suburban Propane in Millsboro, Dela-ware and has been a hard-working employee for over 25 years.

DANELLE DONEY - North Carolina Propane Gas' Romaine G. Holt Memorial Scholarship Danelle Doney is a Class of 2017 graduate of Swansboro High School in Swansboro, North Carolina where she was involved in many clubs including the National Honor Society, Battle of the Books, Health Occupations Students of America, Project Unify and the Swansboro Area Youth Development Founda-tion, for which she was Treasurer. Danelle was also a member of the Women’s Varsity Golf Team and spent many hours volunteering in her community. She will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall where she intends to major in Psychology. Danelle's father, Bradley Doney, is a Ser-vice Technician for Suburban Propane Partners LP in Newport, NC.

SKYLAR DUHON - William B. McHenry Memorial Scholarship Skylar Duhon is the daughter of Steve and Desiree Post of Tucson, Arizona. This year Skylar gradu-

ated from high school with high honors, a 5.0 GPA, and #6 in her class. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys playing sand volleyball, volunteering in her commu-nity, and working as a research intern for a biomedical engineering firm in Tuc-son. Skylar will be attending the University of Arizona Honors College this fall, pursuing a major in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Skylar plans on pursuing an engineering career in the energy industry. Her father, Steve, is an Area Sales Manager for AmeriGas Propane LP in Tucson, AZ.

ADAM DUKE - CHS Foundation Scholarship Adam Duke graduated top of his class from Cornerstone Christian Academy in the small town of Granbury, Texas. His early involvement with music, especially piano, allowed for a creative foundation on which he built his academic success. Passing the time with building Legos as a child, combined with an aptitude to-wards mathematics and algebra, Adam wanted to pursue architecture or engi-neering. After taking advantage of an internship opportunity at a financial plan-ner’s office and taking a course on economics, he applied and was accepted to the College of Business at the University of Texas in Arlington as an Accounting major. His mother, Rachel Duke, is an Office Assistant for Lake Granbury Propane in Granbury, TX.

GARRETT DUNN - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Garrett is from Carthage, Missouri and recently graduated from Carthage High School. In high school

he participated in theatre where he played a main role in two productions and worked backstage in various others. He also participated in FFA in various service projects and attended National FFA Convention and Washington Leadership Confer-ence. Garrett was a member of National Honor Society, International Thespian Soci-ety, FFA, and FBLA. Garrett will be attending Missouri Southern State University to receive a bachelor’s in Biology and then attend medical school at Kansas City Uni-versity of Medicine and Biosciences’ new Joplin campus. His mother, Lisa Dunn, is a secretary for Affordable Propane in Carthage, Missouri.

AMBER EARP - Bob and Linda Mayer Scholarship Amber recently graduated from Happy Valley High School in Elizabethton, Tennes-see. She is a first generation college student and can't wait to attend the Northeast State Community College in the fall as a Biology/Pre-Med major. Her dream job is to be a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Amber enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to church, and reading. She loves to play tennis and volleyball. Her passion is to help and serve others and to make a positive impact on someone's life. Her father, Scotty Earp, is a Service Tech for Blossman Gas, Inc. in Eliza-bethton, TN.

MEGAN ELKINS - Propane Gas Association of New England's Frederick A. Thomas Memorial Scholarship

Megan is from a small town in Maine called, Knox. Knox is where Megan likes to spend a lot of time with her family pursuing hobbies such as, hunting, fishing, and racing. Megan grew up as a basketball star and was awarded varsity letters through out every year in high school along with being team captain. Being from such a small town, Megan grew up learning the true meaning of family and friends. This made her realize how important a healthy life really was. Megan is currently pursuing college at the Maine College of Health Professions and is studying Radi-ology. Her father, Lawrence Elkins Jr, is an installer/tech for Osterman Propane (NGL Energy Partners Retail) in Waldo, ME.

SUMMER EVATT - Amerigas Scholarship Summer is a rising sophomore at Newberry College where she is a nursing major with the ambition to become a pediatric registered nurse. During her freshman year of college, she maintained a 4.0 GPA, joined the National Society of Leader-ship and Success, and was elected Sophomore Class President. Everything that she has accomplished this year has made her more determined than ever to pur-sue her degree. This scholarship is helping make her dreams come true as Sum-mer puts forth hard work and encourages others on her school campus to do the same. Her mother, Cynthia Evatt, is an Office Manager for AmeriGas Propane LP in Easley, SC.

ADAM FARNER - Benchmarking Council Scholarship Adam Farner is from Winner, South Dakota. He is currently attending Lake Area Technical Institute for Aviation Maintenance Technology. In the recent years he de-veloped a passion for the Aviation Industry which eventually allowed him to obtain a Commercial Pilot’s Certificate. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, flying, and being outdoors. After graduation Adam plans on being an Aerial Applicator and a Mechanic for General Aviation. He is very thankful for this scholarship that will help him further his education. Adam’s Mother Kathy Farner is the Payroll Clerk for Country Pride Cooperative.

HOLLY FINDLING - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Holly is currently in the Missouri Army National Guard and will attend basic training the summer of 2017 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. She is sched-uled to return just in time to start the fall semester at Truman State Univer-sity in Kirksville, Missouri where she plans to study music education with a minor in ROTC. Holly is very appreciative of receiving the Missouri Pro-pane Gas Association scholarship as this will allow her to pay towards her college expenses and graduate with less student debt. This will, addition-ally, allow her to further her education to a master or specialist degree. Her father, Timothy Findling, is a Bulk Plant Manager for MFA Oil Com-pany in Kirksville, MO.

KIERSTEN FOXWORTHY - Bertelsmeyer Scholarship Kiersten lives in Independence, Kentucky and graduated from Simon Kenton High School in 2016. She has since completed her freshman year at Eastern Kentucky University where she is working towards a BA in Chemistry. Kiersten is a member of the EKU honors program and quick recall team. She enjoys hiking at Red River Gorge, playing piano, and volunteering in her free time. She is ex-cited to return to EKU in the fall. Her father, David Foxworthy, is a Delivery Rep-resentative for AmeriGas Propane LP in Walton, KY.

GAVIN GODLEWSKI - Quality Steel and IPS Scholarship Gavin Godlewski recently graduated from Lake Fenton High School. During high school, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; had been active in Lake Fenton Thea-tre; was a member of Lake Fenton Cross Country & Track teams; active in Young Life of Genesee County, and received several honors and awards including Best of the Best in Genesee County for Career & Technical Education award. Gavin will be attending Kettering University pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, and for his Co-Op program he has acquired a position with Ford Motor Company. Gavin is very thankful for the propane industry and what it has meant to his family and is hon-ored to have received this scholarship. His mother, Kimberly Godlewski, works for IPS Equipment Inc. in Byron, MI.

JANA GRAHAM - Mississippi Propane Gas Association Scholarship Jana Graham is the daughter of Jan and Regina Graham of Stringer, Mississippi. Her father, Jan, has worked at Blossman Gas and Appliance for 25 years. Jana cur-rently attends Jones County Junior College where she is actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, and Baptist Student Union. She is enjoying her time at Jones, however after completing her basics this upcoming school year, Jana plans to further her major of Registered Nursing to William Carey University in the fall of 2018.

KARISSA GRAPES - Dynegy, in Memory of Elaine Ruhl Scholarship Karissa graduated in the top 5% of her class at Onalaska High School where she was heavily involved in sports, clubs, and activities. Her future plans include stud-ying Pre-law with a major in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies and French from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Karissa says it feels great knowing that the National Propane Foundation recognized her hard work and achievements. This scholarship will help her reach her goal of finishing college with little debt. Her father, Terry Grapes, is a long-time employee with Severson Oil in Winona, Minnesota.

MALLORY GRAVES - Al Darr Memorial Scholarship Mallory Graves is a 2017 graduate of Westmoreland High School in Westmoreland, Tennessee. While in high school, she played softball and was a manager for the foot-ball team. Mallory enjoys sporting events, music, movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She is truly honored to receive this award through the NPG Foun-dation. Her plan is to take pre-nursing courses at Volunteer State Community College and then transfer to Western Kentucky University for a bachelor’s degree in nursing. BETHANY HALL - Maurice Deal Memorial Scholarship Bethany is studying Cosmetology at the Tennessee School of Beauty; she is a senior at East Tennessee State University where she is finishing her degree in Psychology and Business. Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, Bethany consid-ers this award an incredible blessing and plans to use it to complete her cos-metology certification in the pursuit of what she loves. She works a part-time job and enjoys photography. Bethany plans to keep her abilities current and modern as she continues her education as a cosmetologist. She hopes to have a very successful career and to always be of service of those in need. Her father, Dana Hall, is a Regional Sales Manager for TEECO Products Inc. in Rapid City, SD.

KATHRYN HARDIN - Quality Steel and IPS Scholarship Kathryn is a 2017 graduate of Cleveland High School in Cleveland, MS. Katie has been involved in

many clubs and activates, including Dance Team, Student Council, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Diamond Girls, and Drama club. Katie plans to attend Delta State University in the Fall of 2017 majoring in Biology with plans to pursue a career in Nursing. "Graduation from high school has been a great accomplishment full of friendships, hard work and memorable moments." The NPG Foundation has inspired Katie to continue to focus on her education and personal goals that will help her become a better citizen and leader in her com-munity. Her father, Lynn Hardin, works for Quality Steel Corporation in Cleve-land, MS.

DARA HOBSON - John Richard Blossman Scholarship Dara Hobson is continuing her second year of college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro this fall. She is a student in the Bryan's School of Busi-ness working towards her bachelor degree in Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism. She is a proud member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, Hospitality Club, and Alpha Delta Pi. Her father, David Hobson, is an Assistant Manager for Bloss-man Gas, Inc. in Greensboro, NC.

DANIELLE HOCKENSMITH - Trinity Containers Scholarship Danielle is from Frankfort, Kentucky where she attended Franklin County High School. She has been an active member of her local FFA chapter, serving as Chapter and Regional officers and participating in and winning several speech competitions. She was also an active member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. During the summer, Danielle enjoys umpiring softball. She will be attending the University of Kentucky this fall to major in Biosystems Engi-neering, and this scholarship will make attending college easier in terms of fi-nancial standing. Her mother, Amanda, works at Southern States in Frankfort, KY as the merchandising coordinator.

ALEXANDRIA HOLLOWAY - Georgia Propane Gas Association Scholarship Alex Holloway was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She is the daughter of Mark and Glenda Hol-

loway, and recently graduated from Deerfield-Windsor School. Alex was an Honor graduate as well as a member of Beta Club. Her classmates voted her Homecoming and Prom Queen. Outside of class, Alex was involved in cheer-leading, keeping stats, and volunteering in the athletic training room. In the fall, she will be attending Georgia Southwestern State University to pursue a degree in health sciences. During the summer, Alex is excited to spend time at the lake and beach, while also preparing for the 2017 Debutante Season. Alex’s family has been in the Propane business since 1954. Her father works for Modern Gas Company in Leesburg, GA.

RACHEL JESSUP - Trinity Containers Scholarship Rachel Jessup is a rising sophomore in the college of natural resources at North Carolina State University and is double majoring in Forest Management and Plant biology. Given her peculiar lifelong passion for plants, Rachel hopes to pursue a future career in forest health and rare plant protection. One of her current goals is to acquire a propane fueled tiny house that can travel with her into the field after college. She is the daughter of NCPGA State Ex-ecutive, John Jessup.

HALEY JOHNSON - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Haley graduated from Princeton High School of Princeton, Missouri in May 2017. Her activities included: National Honor Society, Student Council, Softball, Basket-ball, Cheerleading, Track, Choir, and Band. Haley will be attending the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg this fall. She plans to major in radiology and become a radiation therapist. Haley would like to say thank the NPG Foundation. This scholarship will allow her to further her education and reach her dreams. CAMERON KILIAN - Young Gassers Scholarship Cameron is from Gorham, Kansas where he attended Russell High School. In high school Cameron was actively involved in STUCO, Class Vice-President, National Honor Society, National Business Honor Society, Football, Basketball, FFA , 4-H and showed horses. This award will help Cameron further his education at Kansas State University, where he plans to obtain a degree in Finance. This will allow him to grow as a leader and gain valuable skills in college to be successful in his ca-reer. Cameron hopes to return to his local community in the future to improve the local economy. He greatly appreciates the support this scholarship provides in helping him to reach his goals. Cameron's father, Stuart Kilian, is a Delivery Driver for Pfeifer's Inc. in Victoria, KS.

CONNOR KLINGELE - NPGA Scholarship Connor Klingele is from Liberty, Illinois and will be entering his senior year at South-ern Illinois University Carbondale. He is pursuing a degree in Agribusiness Economics with a minor in Accounting. Connor holds many roles throughout the College of Agri-cultural Sciences. He is president of the Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter, Vice-Presi-dent of Agricultural Student Council, and Vice-President of the Agribusiness Econom-ics Club. Connor also works in the Student Services Office within the College of Agri-cultural Sciences. His mother, Joyce Klingele, is a Customer Service Representative at Manchester Tank and Equipment in Quincy, Illinois.

MAXWELL KRUEGER - NPGA Scholarship Maxwell recently graduated from Mora High School. He was born and raised in Mora, Minnesota and loves the benefits of growing up in a small town. Maxwell lives on a small farm where his family raises cows, sheep, chickens, pigeons, pigs, and a horse. Throughout high school, he participated in band, choir, cross country, nordic skiing, tennis, student council, and National Honor Society. Through all of those, Maxwell learned the importance of being involved and giving back to the community. He hopes to continue to give back as he heads off to the University of Minnesota Duluth this Fall. His father, Kipton Krueger, is a Manager for Lakes Gas Co. in Hinkley, MN.

OWEN KRUEGER - NPGA Scholarship Owen is a junior at the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. He is major-ing in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Software Development. Owen grew up in Brook Park, Minnesota where he participated in sports such as Cross Country, Nordic Skiing and Track. He lived on a small hobby farm where his family raised beef cattle, chickens and sheep. He hopes to receive his bachelor's de-gree from the St. Scholastica and pursue a career in Software Development around the Duluth area. Owen’s father is the manager of Lakes Gas Hinckley.

BROOKE KVATERNICK - Harry S. Lyons Scholarship Brooke Kvaternick is from a small town in Southwest Florida and is a 2017 gradu-ate from Lemon Bay High School. She will attend the Honors College at the Uni-versity of South Florida in Tampa in the fall, majoring in microbiology. Her high school activities included softball, volunteering school-held sports camps for younger athletes, Science National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Soci-ety, and environmental club. Her father, William Kvaternick, is a Service Man-ager/Technician for Calkins LP Gas Company in Englewood, FL.

Jessica Laster - CHS Foundation Scholarship Jessica is a rising Junior at the University of Texas at Austin. She is pursuing her Mas-ter's in Public Accounting through their five year integrated degree program. She is an active member of the Hispanic Business Students Association as well as the Women in Business Association and has been on the University Honors list for the past four semesters. Jessica enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. She is very grateful for the CHS Foundation's aid in helping her pur-sue her education.

COURTNEY LEAVITT - NPGA Scholarship Courtney Leavitt is a graduate from Ramona High School in Ramona California. In HS she participated in soccer and track, was a part of the National Honors Program, and was an active leader of a peer counseling group (RTL). Courtney will be at-tending Palomar College in the fall to start her path of becoming a psychiatrist. She loves to read in her spare time, outside under their trees is the best place. She is very excited to start college! Her mother, Kelly Leavitt, is the operations supervisor for the County ProFlame Propane in Lakeside, CA.

MARIAH LEWIS - Gene and Joann Bissell Scholarship Mariah will be a junior at San Diego State University majoring in Social Work this fall. She is originally

from Arcata, CA, growing up there allowed her to know that she wanted to help others just as her community back home does. During college, she hopes to vol-unteer and intern within different types of social work fields, populations and ages. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Mariah hopes to continue going to San Diego State and pursuing a masters in social work. After college, she will ei-ther join the Peace Corps or help internationally and bring her knowledge and skill sets back to America. WAYLEN LINDSEY - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Waylen Lindsey is a current student at the University of Missouri – Columbia. His activities include playing on the Mizzou Club Baseball team and coaching an 11-year-old baseball team. He is currently majoring in Math with an emphasis in Actu-arial Science. Waylen plans on using this degree to become an Actuary after grad-uating. His father, Erik Lindsey, is a Manager for Mountain Country Propane in Lebanon, MO.

DYLAN LUKE - New Jersey Propane Gas Association's Alvin E. Clayton Memorial Scholarship Dylan was born in Livingston, New Jersey, his parents Jane and James, emigrated from India. Their

consistent hard work and determination inspired both his work ethic for school and efforts to improve his education. Growing up, sports were a major part of Dylan's life, he played soccer, basketball, and tennis in high school. He was also very much involved with the high school drama program, becoming the male dance cap-tain. Dylan plans to attend Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and major in Electrical/Computer Engineering because he sees this field changing the world in the near future. COLE MANION - Heritage Propane Scholarship Cole is from Clarkson, Kentucky and will be a sophomore at Murray State Univer-sity in the fall of 2017 where he is a Political Science/Pre-Professional Legal Stud-ies major. Cole is a member of the Murray State Men’s Golf Team, as well as the Murray State Honors College. He also participates in several student groups on campus including the Murray State Pre-Law Association, College Republicans, and Honors Student Council. After he graduates, Cole hopes to go on to law school and eventually practice constitutional law. His father, Tommy Manion, works for AmeriGas in Kentucky.

LOGAN MARKHAM - Edward Woodrow Blossman Memorial Scholarship Logan Markham is a sophomore attending East Tennessee State University, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Logan enjoys swimming and many other athletic activities that his university has to offer. He is also passionate about video game design, his desired career. Logan is thankful for the NPGA's continued support for his education, and hopes to utilize their gener-osity by furthering his education after receiving his undergraduate's degree. MADISON MARSH - In Memory of Charles and in Honor of Sally Gayle Revere Scholarship

Madison Marsh is a recent graduate of Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Michi-gan. She was the president of the Class of 2017, Vice President of the National Honor Society, and a member of both the Interact and Cardinal clubs. Madison was also the Captain of the swim, basketball, and soccer teams. Next fall she will be at-tending Trine University in Angola, Indiana to continue playing soccer and studying Exercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy. Madison's father, Jonathan Marsh, is a Maintenance for Liberty Propane in Reading, MI.

NATALIE MAY - Bill and Florene Wray Memorial Scholarship Natalie will be a sophomore at Kansas State University pursuing a degree in En-trepreneurship with a minor in Mass Communications/Journalism, emphasizing in Advertising. She loves being involved with the university and is currently an am-bassador for the Entrepreneurship program, a part of Student Alumni Board, and a member of Silver Key Honorary. In addition, she is working to form an organization called Women in Business, whose purpose is to advocate for the personal and professional development of young women in the business field. The organization is set to launch in the fall of 2017. Her father, Chris May, is a Service Manager for Fairbank Equipment in Wichita, KS.

JOSHUA MCCARTY - Jim Bertelsmeyer Scholarship Joshua McCarty is from Eastern Kentucky and is the son of Joey and Paula McCarty. He is a 2016 Kentucky Governor’s Scholar, church leader, and a graduate of East Ridge High School. He plans on attending the University of Kentucky to pur-sue a degree in Electrical Engineering. In high school, Joshua participated in the Ac-ademic Team, Drama Club, National Honors Society, and Track and Field. Joshua’s father is a district manager for Heritage Propane in Baxter, KY.

RACHEL MENTZER - Barbara and Bill Clark Memorial Scholarship Rachel Mentzer finished her junior year at Pittsburg State University. She is ac-tive in the Elementary Education program and was inducted into the National So-ciety of Leadership and Success Chapter of PSU. She spends her free time working, studying with friends, and crocheting. Her plans are to graduate in the Fall of 2018. Her father, Richard Mentzer, is head of the propane division of Woodson County Cooperative in Yates Center, Kansas.

MAKAYLA MILLER - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship MaKayla will be entering her senior year this fall at Central Methodist University. She works full time as

a paraprofessional in a special education preschool classroom, while taking full time online courses through Central Methodist University. MaKayla plans on graduating in May of 2018 with an Elementary Education degree, and hopes to secure a teaching job in one of the smaller communities around Columbia, MO. In MaKayla’s free time, she enjoys quilting, painting, watching crime shows on Netflix, and spending as much time as possible with her two adorable nieces. Her mother, Wendy Miller, is a Customer Service Specialist for Ferrellgas in Co-lumbia, MO.

SAMANTHA MILLER - Illinois Propane Gas Association Scholarship Samantha is a recent graduate of Newman Central Catholic High School in Sterling, IL and will be attending Black Hawk College this Fall. She would say that she is a very hard working student in and out of the class room. She is a fun, outgoing, and bubbly person who enjoys hunting, fishing, and relaxing outdoors in her free time. REGINA MONHAUT - CHS Propane Scholarship Regina Monhaut is from Mishawaka, Indiana and is the daughter of William and Ann Monhaut. She is going to be a junior at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. From a young age, Regina knew that she wanted to help people. As such, she is studying Heath and Exercise Science and will be starting her second year in the Physical Thera-pist Assistant Program this Fall. This money will help pay for the tuition of the school she came to know and love and enable her to receive the excellent education that the school gives her. KALEN MOSS - Propane Marketers Association of Kansas' Beth Johnson Memorial Scholarship Kalen Moss is the daughter of Rusty and Stephanie Moss. Kalen Moss was the valedictorian at Hillsboro High School in the class of 2016. For the last year she has studied at College of the Ozarks. She is majoring in History and Business Administration. SARAH MULKEY - Young Gassers Scholarship Sarah Mulkey is a senior at Michigan State University studying Business Management and Criminal

Justice. She plans to pursue a career helping at risk youth through non-profit pro-grams as well as opening her own martial arts school. At school, she enjoys work-ing as a teacher’s aide at a preschool with 3 and 4 year olds as well as being in-volved in the Students for Restorative Justice group on campus. Sarah is grateful for this scholarship because it allows her to attend a top school like Michigan State which provides many opportunities such as working with parolees/probationers through an independent study to gain real world experience. Sarah’s mother, Car-olyn Mulkey, is an Assistant Manager for Parker’s Propane Gas Co. in Flint, MI.

ADAM NELSON - Trinity Containers Scholarship Adam Nelson recently graduated as valedictorian of Hot Springs High School. He has lived in Hot Springs, South Dakota for his entire life. Next fall Adam will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder and majoring in applied mathematics and physics. He enjoys long distance running and biking, as well as camping, hik-ing, reading, and learning new things. Adam works at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota and would like to work at other national parks in the future. His fa-ther, Richard Nelson, is an owner of Nelson's Oil & Gas, Inc. in Hot Springs, SD.

JACOB PAYNE - Williams Energy Scholarship Jacob Payne will be a returning junior at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama this fall. Jacob is

majoring in Religion and plans on adding a Business minor. Jacob is very active in the community, both on and off campus. His activities include being part of the Samford Recruitment Team, he is also a member of the Leadership Team at The Church @ Brookhills, and he will be working an internship with the Fellow Christian Athletes this summer. Jacob is very grateful for this award, it will help him continue in his calling and take off a burden allowing him to focus on classwork and campus life in and around Birmingham. ALICIA PEEL - Sam and Ann McTier Scholarship Alicia Peel is a recent graduate of Douglas High School in Box Elder, SD. This avid volunteer has been an active member in National Honor Society, Youth to Youth, Drama Club, Girl Scouts and Job's Daughters for the past several years, holding a variety of positions in each organization and club. She loves helping oth-ers and, like many individuals, hopes to one day change the world. Alicia is hon-ored to have received the Sam and Ann McTier Scholarship as it will assist her in pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology this fall. CHEYANNE PERRY - AmeriGas in Memory of David Lugar Scholarship Cheyanne is formerly from the state of Florida where she graduated as valedictorian of Umatilla High

School and earned her first degree at Lake Sumter State College. A year ago, Chey-anne and her family were forced to relocate to South Carolina to undergo treatment for her genetic conditions, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Disease. To help others whose lives have also been disrupted by poor physical health, she is cur-rently attending North Greenville University with the aspiration of pursuing a career as a Christian counselor with a subspecialty in chronic and terminal illness. She finds solace in her faith. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, blogging, and running her small Etsy business where she sells her hand knitted items. Cheyanne's stepfa-ther, Sean Chavis, is a Service Technician for AmeriGas Propane LP in Easley, SC.

LESLIE RANSON - Amerigas Scholarship Leslie "Annie" Ranson attends Virginia Commonwealth University studying Bio-chemistry and French in hopes of going on to medical school. Annie hopes to be a pediatric surgeon possibly in cardiovascular surgery or orthopedic surgery. She cannot explain how blessed she feels to have gotten this scholarship as it helps so much with books and tuition costs. In 2016, Annie graduated high school from James River ranked 9th out of 475 students with a G.P.A. of 4.71. In her free time Annie enjoys sewing, cooking, traveling, volunteering at local organizations, and spending time with her family and friends. Annie thanks the NPG Foundation for supporting her goal of going on to medical school. Her mother, Deborah Ranson, is a Human Resource Manager for AmeriGas Propane LP in N Chesterfield, VA.

HAYDEN RAPS - Jack Capps Memorial Scholarship Hayden Raps is the loudest and proudest member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2020 'A-A-A-A-

A!’ This is his wildcat at Texas A&M where he is pursuing a degree in petroleum engineering. Because of the generosity of NPGF scholarship donors he can con-tinue attending A&M where he has become surrounded by traditions he's learned to love and live by. Hayden is pursuing Petroleum engineering because it is one of the top ranked in the nation and he believes it will help achieve his goal of working on oil fields around the world. Hayden's mother, Amanda Raps, is a Marketing for Dragon Products (dba Modern Group Ltd) in Beaumont, TX.

RACHEL RAULERSON - Al Darr Memorial Scholarship Rachel Raulerson is from Crossville, TN. She will be entering her third year at East Tennessee State University, where she majors in Clinical Psychology and is Pre-Business. She is working toward earning a BBA Degree in General Business Management and a BS Degree in Psychology. For Rachel, this award means that she may continue pursuing these degrees, in the hopes of one day opening her own practice. She is grateful to be a recipient because it allows her to stay equally involved, or increase her involvement, in the Admissions Ambas-sadors organization, Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, and around the Tri-cities community. KYLIE REGENSBURGER - CHS Propane Scholarship Kylie Regensburger graduated from Ankeny, Iowa in the spring of 2016. She is currently attending Iowa State University and majoring in Dietetics. She spends her time volunteering and is a member of the Student Dietetics Association at Iowa State. This scholarship will allow Kylie to finish school and go on to work her dream job as a dietitian. She wants to be able to share her talent and inter-est in healthy eating to improve an individual’s lifetime. With this scholarship, Ky-lie will be able to further her education and fulfill her dreams. Kylie's father, Leo Regensburger, is a Delivery Driver for Ferrellgas in Des Moines, IA.

ISRAEL REYNOLDS - John D. Jenkins Scholarship As a senior at Lee County High School Israel Reynolds spent years volunteering in the community and participating in school sports and clubs. He plans to attend Central Caro-lina Community College this fall to continue his education, and he feels honored to receive an NPGF scholarship. Without this award most of his time would have been spent working to save money, but this gives him more time to spend on school itself. Without having to worry as much about work and money, his grades and degree will be his two most im-portant priorities. RACHEL ROBB - NPGA Scholarship Rachel is currently a junior at Liberty University studying Teaching English as a Second Language with a minor in Spanish. In the future, she hopes to use teaching English overseas as a missionary to open doors for the gospel among unreached people groups. This scholarship is important to Rachel because it allows her to save money this semester to put towards obtaining a master’s degree once she graduates. She is extremely appreciative for this award. Her father, Timothy Robb, is an IT Manager for Quarles Energy Services in Fredericksburg, VA.

SAWYER ROSNER - Amerigas Scholarship Sawyer Rosner grew up in Phelps, WI, his parents are Bob and Donna Rosner. As a child, Sawyer grew to love the outdoors, and sports. He carried these pas-sions into his high school career. As a student-athlete, he excelled in the class-room and on the field played three sports: basketball, baseball, and soccer while maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout high school. Recently, Sawyer was named one of thirty-two WIAA scholar athletes from the Class of 2017 for Wisconsin, one of the most prestigious awards for student-athletes across the state. Thanks to this scholarship and his academic success, Sawyer plans to attend Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and pursue a double major in physics-engineering and math while play-ing basketball. His father is a service technician for Amerigas Propane in Eagle River, WI.

SHELBY SCHAEFER - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Shelby Schaefer is a senior at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. She is majoring in Ath-

letic Training with plans to study Physical Therapy in graduate school. Shelby is a lifelong resident of Macon, Missouri where she was in the top ten of her graduat-ing class at Macon R-I High School. This summer, Shelby is on the medical team at Eagle Lake Youth Camps in Colorado Springs where she will be using her ath-letic training knowledge to assist students ages 8-18 with many different types of outdoor sports in the mountains. Shelby is excited to have received this scholar-ship from the Missouri PGA to help her with her final year of her undergraduate degree. Shelby's father, Dan, is a propane plant manager for MFA in both Macon and Moberly, MO.

GARRET SCHNEIDER - Propane Marketers Association of Kansas' Beth Johnson Memorial Scholarship Garret and his sister Krista grew up on his family's farm near Olmitz, Kansas, his parents are Chris and Michelle. Garret is currently studying mechanical engineering at Kansas State University and hopes to one day work in the agricultural industry designing farm machinery. He thanks NPG Foundation by offering this opportunity to study something he so passionate about. His father is a manager for Moeder Oil Company in Great Bend, KS.

DEBORAH SMITH - Illinois Propane Gas Association Scholarship Deborah is from East Hazel Crest, Illinois. This spring, she graduated from Illi-ana Christian High School with high honors. Deborah was a twelve season athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track each year. She plans on attending Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL in the fall and continuing her vol-leyball career there. She will be majoring in applied health science with plans of becoming a physical therapist. This award is allowing her to play the sport that she loves and to further her education. Her mother, Nancy Smith, is an Area Coordinator for AmeriGas Propane LP in Lockpart, IL.

RAYANNA SMITH - Missouri Propane Gas Association Scholarship Rayanna Smith lives in Green City, MO and just graduated from Green City R-1 High School. She is on her journey to attend and further her education at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri then transfer to Culver-Stockton in Canton, Missouri to receive a degree in Sports Management. Rayanna will be the first in her family to attend college, she has the determination and motivation to do this not only for herself, but for her family as well. She is so grateful to be able to come this far and is thankful to those who have helped and provided support along the way here. Her father, Jerl "Ray" Smith, is a Propane Driver for MFA Oil Company in Milan, MO.

CLANCIE SORRELL - Propane Marketers Association of Kansas' Beth Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Clancie Sorrell is from Southeast Kansas and attended Labette County High School for four years. Now she has completed one year at John Brown University where she has participated in several clubs and activities. Some of these clubs include JBU Honors, Spiritual Discipleship Ambassadors, and Volleyball Club. She is currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations and she plans to be a public liaison for a company after graduation. Receiving this scholarship will allow her to continue her dreams of receiving her degree. This scholarship allows her to be diligent in her studies at JBU. Her father, Perry Sorrell, is a General Manager for Bartlett Coop Association in Bartlett, KS.

HOLLEIGH SORRELL - Propane Marketers Association of Kansas' Beth Johnson Memorial Scholarship Holleigh Sorrell grew up in a family of eight in a rural area in Southeast Kansas. She graduated as Valedictorian from Labette County High School where she partic-ipated in many extra-curricular activities. Holleigh has been attending John Brown University since the fall of 2014 and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services with a minor in Business Administration. At John Brown, she has been involved in the Honors Club, Residence Life, and Watts Tutoring Program. She works with her father at the Bartlett Co-op Association where delivering pro-pane is one of the services the association offers. Her parents are Perry and Jes-sica Sorrell.

TYSON STRUM - NPGA Scholarship Tyson Strum is from Twin Valley, Minnesota. He graduated from Norman County East High School as

Valedictorian of his class. He took many college courses online throughout his junior and senior years of high school, and by the time he graduated high school in 2017 he earned a two-year Associate Degree from Northland Community and Technical College. He served as president of his school's Student Council and National Honor Society. He has done philanthropy work with several different philanthropic organizations, including Shock & Awe Philanthropy Group, Voltz Youth Philanthropy Group, and Gary Cares Nonprofit Organization. Tyson plans on attending University of North Dakota this Fall. His father, Brad Strum, is an Energy Administration for West Central Ag Service in Ulen, MN.

DESIREE TANG - Ashlee Poland Memorial Scholarship Desiree is from Houston, TX and is currently attending the University of Texas in Austin as a sophomore. Desiree is pursuing a major in electrical engineering. She is an active member in the organizations, Women in Electrical and Computer Engineer-ing (WECE) and the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Desiree is also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Desiree’s hobbies include listening to music, reading, traveling, and simply spending time with her family and friends. Her mother, Sandy Tang, is a Sen-ior Accountant for AmeriGas Propane LP in Houston, TX.

MORGAN THOMAS - NPGA Scholarship Morgan is a junior in college at Mott Community College and she is doing a transfer program with Northwood University for her bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Some of her hobbies include arts and crafts, bowling, soccer, volleyball, and working out. Her favorite thing to do is traveling and seeing new areas. She loves her family and friends and couldn't thank them enough for all their love and support. Her step-mother, Marie Thomas, is a Receptionist for Parker's Propane Gas Co. in Clio, MI.

BRYSON TINER - Dan Gurley Memorial Scholarship Bryson Tiner is a sophomore at Georgia Military College in Augusta, where he is pursuing an Associate of Science in Business Administration degree. After GMC, he plans to attend Augusta University and earn a bachelor degree in finance. This scholarship will help him to obtain his educational goals and he is very thankful to be a recipient. Bryson enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends. His mother, Deana Tiner, is a CSA for Town and Country Gas in Wrens, GA.

HALEY TOLITSKY - Mark and Beth Pennington Scholarship Haley is a senior, studying finance, through the honors college at Grand Valley State University. She has made the Dean’s list every semester at GVSU and was recently awarded Outstanding Student Intern of the Year and the “I Am Grand Val-ley” leadership award. She currently interns for a financial advisor in Grand Rapids, Michigan and hopes to open her own practice after graduation to help people in the community achieve their financial goals. Her passions include dancing, traveling, and volunteering. She is grateful to receive this scholarship and have support to reach her dreams with financial assistance. Haley's father, Joseph Tolitsky, is an Operations Manager for Suburban Propane Partners LP in Oxford, MI.

SUKI ULLRICH - Propane Gas Association of New England's Frederick A. Thomas Memorial Scholarship This fall, Suki Ullrich will enter her sophomore year as a Medical Biology major at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. She is in an accelerated 3+4 Dental Medicine Early Assurance program, and her ultimate career goal is to be-come a general dentist. At UNE, she was recently elected to be the Secretary of the Pre-Dental Club, and she is a sprinter on the Club Track & Field Team. Her favorite hobbies are playing the flute, painting, hiking, photography and travel. Her father, James Ullrich, is a Dispatcher for Buckley Heating & Cooling in Peace Dale, RI.

BETZABEL VAZQUEZ - Ancient Gassers/BPN Scholarship Betzabel Vazquez is from Providence, Rhode Island and is a third-year student in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. Outside of her obsession with 2pac and 90s music, her passion really lies in teaching, educa-tional reform, and social activism. Betzabel plans to change the world by creating an education system that cultivates equal opportunities for all students. Her mother, Isla Vasquez, is a Customer Service Supervisor for Star Gas Partners, LP (dba Petro Propane) in Woodbury, NY.

ALEXANDER VOLLEN - James & Elizabeth Bass Scholarship Alexander Vollen is a graduate of Bemidji High School in Bemidji Minnesota. In High School, he lettered in Track and Field and Football 4 years each and was the captain of each sport his senior year. Alex was also an academic letter winner 4 years, an Honor graduate and a member of the National Honor Society. In the fall, Alex will attend University of Minnesota Moorhead. He will be a member of the Moorhead Dragon Track and Field team and will pursue a degree in science edu-cation. He is very grateful for the scholarship, which provides financial support. His mother, Julie Vollen, is an Office Manager for Bemidji Cooperative Association in Bemidji, MN.

RACHEL WALLACE - Benchmarking Council Scholarship Rachel Wallace is currently attending Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala-bama in pursuit of a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law. She was a member of the Freshman Forum for the 2016-2017 school year and the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. She is currently serving on the Presidential Cabinet as the rep-resentative for the School of Human Services and Social Sciences. Ms. Wallace is very grateful to be receiving this scholarship, because she plans to use it in an effort to fur-ther her education, so that she may serve others in her community and those surround-ing it. Her father, Kevin Wallace, is a Delivery Driver for ThompsonGas, LLC in Tal-ladega, AL.

AMANDA WARTMAN - New Jersey Propane Gas Association's Alvin E. Clayton Memorial Scholarship Amanda's interest in all things culinary began before she could reach the kitchen counter. When the owners of the restaurant where she works learned she had chosen County College to pursue her education, they were thrilled that Amanda would be staying close to home and could continue to work, learn and hone her skills at the restaurant. She has maintained an excellent GPA all throughout high school, and works 4 to 5 days a week at the restaurant. Amanda looks forward to pursuing her passion and developing it into a career. It is the best of both worlds! Her stepfather, Ralph Van Auken, is a Customer Relations Specialist for Subur-ban Propane Partners LP in Augusta, NJ.

REBECCA WEATHERFORD - Mississippi Propane Gas Association's Courtney Blossman Scholarship

Becca Weatherford is the youngest daughter of Scott (Director of Safety and Com-pliance, Blossman Gas) and Debra Weatherford. She is also the granddaughter of Bob and Linda Mayer. Becca studies International Relations and Spanish at Sam-ford University. On campus, she is a Howard College Ambassador, Vice President of Alpha Phi Omega, and a Core Team Leader of the Catholic Student Association. The Courtney Blossman Memorial Scholarship is greatly appreciated by Becca and her family because it allows her to strive for her career and personal goals at her dream university.

JACOB WEESIES - Ancient Gassers Scholarship This Fall, Jacob Weesies will be a sophomore at Grand Valley State University pur-suing a degree in mechanical engineering. In high school, Jacob was an all-state swimmer, the sailing team captain, and member of the marching band. During his first year a Grand Valley he was a member of the club sailing team and the honors college. His father, Dirk Weesies, is a Propane Serviceman/Driver for Excel Propane Co. in Fruitport, MI.

KAITLYN WEESIES - Daniel N. Myers Scholarship At Spring Lake High School in Spring Lake, Michigan, Kaitlyn was a member of the Varsity Swim Team, Varsity Competitive Cheer Team, concert band, march-ing band, and musical theater. She will be a freshman at Calvin College in the fall semester of 2017. She plans on double majoring in Special Education and Spanish. While continuing her education at Calvin, she hopes to be involved in music, dance, and theater. Her father, Dirk Weesies, is a Propane Service-man/Driver for Excel Propane Co. in Fruitport, MI.

HANNAH WEIBEL - Milford and Gail Therrell Memorial Scholarship Hannah Weibel is from Hartford, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hartford Union High School. For all four years of high school, she was involved in tennis, forensics, and the school's theater program. She also dabbled in the visual arts and also has played the double bass since 6th grade. This fall, Hannah will be attending University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she will participate in the Engineering Honors in Liberal Arts Program. She's extremely excited, and extremely thankful for the help provided by the NPG Foundation. Her father, Daniel Weibel, is a Propane Truck Deliverer for Boehlke Bottled Gas Corp. in Cedarburg, WI.

BAILEY WINTERS - NPGA Scholarship Bailey is from Carmi, IL and graduated from Carmi White County High School in 2014. She then graduated from Wabash Valley College in 2016, and is currently at-tending Murray State University and is studying nursing. Bailey participated in many clubs in high school including Student Council and Key club. At Wabash Valley Col-lege, Bailey was an active participant in Student Senate and was also on the WVC softball team. At Murray State University, Bailey is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and several other clubs on campus. Bailey enjoys working out and reading in her free time. Her father, Bill Winters, is a Driver for Matheson Tri-Gas in Mount Vernon, IN.

ASHTON WOODCOCK - Georgia Propane Gas Association Scholarship Ashton Woodcock is from Kennesaw, Georgia and a recent honors graduate of Harrison High School. She was a member of National Honors Society, Student Government, and art club. In the fall, Ashton will attend the University of South Carolina to study biomedical engineering in the Capstone program. Her father, George Woodcock, is a Product Manager for Rinnai America Corporation in Peachtree City, GA.

OLIVIA WOODROW - James Richard Bass Jr and Patrice A Bass Scholarship

Olivia Woodrow is from the small town of Kingman, Indiana. Olivia is a 2017 gradu-ate from Fountain Central High School, and she will attend Indiana University this fall to major in nursing. Olivia was her high school class president, along with being National Honor Society and Spanish Club president as well. She was also a mem-ber of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Mustang Mentors, Student Council, and a 9 year 4-H member. Olivia was also involved in volleyball, cross country, basketball, and tennis. She also spends much of her time volunteering at the local animal shelter. Her father, Todd Woodrow, is a Bulk Delivery for Overpeck Gas Co. in Marshall, IN.

ALEXIS YOUNG - Georgia Propane Gas Association Scholarship Alexis “Lexi” Young is the daughter of Dirk and Heather Young from Suwanee, Georgia. She graduated with honors from North Gwinnett High School. Lexi is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and NGHS Varsity Softball Team. Her team won the 2016-17 GHSA Class 7A State Fast Pitch Softball Championship. She will be attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia where she plans to pursue a degree in Business Finance. Lexi cur-rently is currently an accounting intern with Reeves Young. Her father, Dirk Young, is employed as a Regional Manager with AmeriGas Propane.
