Sivent axial fans offer the following advantages:

• Long service life

• Special corrosion protection

• Individual color selection

• Operating characteristics matched to the

power supply company‘s requirements

• Outdoor-suitable housing made of hot-galvanized

sheet-steel and featuring an additional coating

Sivent fans are used for all power transformer cooling applications, e.g. in transformer substations or power plants, to dissipate the heat losses over external radiators or oil coolers. Our long-standing experience in the development of blade wheel and housing geometries guarantees minimum noise emission. The fans comply with the market requirements in large-scale transformer engineering and assure fail-safe operation in all climatic zones.

In these extreme cases the machine function could be affected. A corresponding transformer or a

special motor has to be used.

Packings, packing units

Our device and shipping packings offer protection against dust and mechanical damage during transportation and thus assure our devices‘ impeccable delivery condition.

The selection and design of our packings are based on aspects of environmental compatibility, reusability (e.g. crumpled paperinstead of styrofoam chips as transportation protection in shipping packings up to 32 kg) and, particularly, waste minimization.

With our multipackings and reusable packings, we offer you differentiated packing types, which are both environmentally compatible and customized to your needs.

Unless stated otherwise in the selection and ordering data of this catalog, our devices are delivered in individual single packings.

For small parts/accessories, we offer cost-favorable packing units as standard packings, which contain more than one device, e.g. 5, 10, 50 or 100 items.It is imperative to order whole-numbered multiples of these quantities to assure an impeccable quality of the devices and a smooth order execution.

The devices are delivered in a neutral white cardboard box. A label states warning notes, the CE mark as well as the open recycling arrow symbol and device descriptions in German and English.

Multipackings and reusable packings

An order-related, non-sorted delivery of larger quantities of unpacked devices in ENBs can be ordered upon agreement. For the stipulation of delivery modalities or set deliveries andfurther forms of delivery in ENBs/RTCs, such as container deliveries or return deliveries, please contact your local Siemens branch (for Siemens contact partners, visit: http://www.siemens.de/automation/partner), which will conclude a respective agreement with you.

Orders of special versions

When ordering products which deviate from the catalog-listed designs, the order number stated in the catalog must be supplemented by “–Z”; the desired characteristics are to be additionally stated in the form of alphanumeric short specifications or in plain text.

With minimum orders, the costs for order processing exceed the order value. For such cases, we recommend to combine your demands to a larger order.
