Semester 2 teaching ends Friday 09 May

Revision Week (Term-time) Monday 12 – Friday 16 May

Online module enrolment opens for optional modules for students moving into Year 3 and above (closes Friday 14 August) YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REGISTERED FOR COMPULSORY MODULES

Tuesday 13 May

Online module enrolment opens for elective modules (all students) Tuesday 08 July

Semester 2 Examinations/Assessment period (Saturdays falling within this period may be used for examinations if necessary) Monday 19 May – Friday 06 June

End of Session Friday 20 June

Results available online (via the Portal) Monday 07 July

Online registration for August re-sits opens (closes Friday 18 th July-after this date a late admin fee will apply) Monday 07 July-Friday 18th July

Re-sit examination timetable (with venues) published Thursday 31 July

Re-sit examination period (Note : Saturdays falling within this period may be used for examinations if necessary) Tuesday 12 – Friday 22 August

August re-sit results available online (via the Portal) Wednesday 10 September (midday)

Progression CriteriaAll students need to pass 100 credits (by September)To include all PFP modules on your

programme

Students who fail a PFP module even after August resit, must change programme, or take a year out and resit as an external

student.

Students who only pass 80 credits (but pass all PFP modules) can progress on an ORDINARY degree (and can redeem HONOURS if

they make up the credits in subsequent years).

Placement take place between Years 2 & 3

Must be in Paid employment for 9 – 15 months

You are responsible for finding your own placement, but there is help available

Can expect to earn an annual Salary of £15,000 - £25,000

students

Compulsory for Year 1 Students

Sessions based on lecture notes/ homework /

general uni life

Sessions should be informal and

relaxed; a safe place for students to ask about things

they don’t understand
