Transparency Collage OBJECTIVES: Transparency Collage Create a collage (i.e. traditional, picture slicing), then overlay with transparent imagery. • Students will learn about collage making and the different types of collages there are, with specifics in collage making. • To go beyond the immediate lesson and apply artistic creativity. PROCESS: • You will start by creating a collage of your choice (i.e. traditional in Photoshop, picture slicing, etc.). • Start by exploring different forms of collage to use as inspiration, as well as different ways to create an overall composition of images. • Create transparency imagery that will overlay on top of created collage (see examples).
