In the winter time snow covered the ground. The sleigh was used to carry passengers, baggage and mail. Travelers used warm bricks or stones wrapped in cloth to keep their feet warm.

The first trolley cars were pulled by horses. The trolley cars were placed on the track and the horses would pull them along.

The Model-T ford was a very popular car of its time. It was built with a roof so you wouldn’t get wet when it rained.
Today some cars are built for speed.
