The SHC is located at 4448 Front Street S.E. in Calgary, just east of Deerfoot Trail via the Cranston Ave./Seton Bldvd. exit.

• Route 14: links to the Somerset/Bridlewood C-Train station. This service stops at all of SHC’s bus stops, including the main entrance on Front St.

• Route 406: links to the Somerset/Bridlewood C-Train and the McKenzie Towne stations. This service only stops at the north side of the building on Seton Blvd.

• Route 302: this is a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) service linking SHC to McKenzie Towne (via 52 St.) and downtown. This service stops at the north side of the building, and at the main entrance.

There is a 10-minute patient drop-o� and pickup lane at the main entrance, on the south side of the building, from Front Street.

Public parking is available in Lot 3 (surface) or Lot 1 (parkade) on Level P1. You can get to the parkade from all entrances: (Prairie), (Forest) and (Mountain)There is handicap parking near all elevators. See the map on the back for parking locations.

Parking rates apply 24 hours per day.Rates: $2.00 per half hour $13.00 for 24 hours $41.00 for weekly parking passes $85.00 for monthly parking passes

Parking Pay Stations are located throughout the campus and accept cash and all major credit cards. You can buy monthly passes from Parking Services, located on Level 2.

Enter SHC through the main entrance o� of Front Street, the west entrance, or from the parkade (see map).

The Information Desk is just inside the main entrance.

There is a Good Earth Co�eehouse located on the main level by the west rotating doors. The Market Cafe is located on the east end of the main level by the Prairie Elevators. There is also the Pillar’s Cafe located in the east corridor (leading to the Emergency Department). Hot and cold vending machines are available at various locations throughout SHC.

There is a direct phone line to taxi services at the main entrance. SHC’s taxi providers are:• Associated Cab: 403-299-1111 | 403-299-1122• Checker Cab: 403-299-9999

There is an ATM located on Level 1 along Mainstreet, across from the Wellness Centre.

The South Health Campus (SHC) is a full-service hospital and healthcare facility.

This state-of-the-art centre connects hospital care with community services, promotes health as much as treats illness, and encourages health care providers to �nd innovative ways to care for patients.

The South Health Campus focuses on patient and family-centred care. Patients and families will be full partners on their care teams, and in the planning, delivery and evaluation of health services.

The campus serves Calgary and surrounding areas, but will also be a referral centre for southern Alberta.

SHC is expected to have about 2,400 full-time sta� positions and 180 doctors who will see about 200,000 outpatients.
