Recharge for Resiliency (R4R) is the capstone for resiliency programming across the Air Force. R4R encompasses the following key resiliency components: the Single Airman Programming Initiative (SAPI), Rec-On and Deployed Affected Programming.

Deployed Affected Programming:Provides resources targeting deployed affected and dependant restricted, Air Force installation assigned service members and their families providing relief from the challenges of deployment.

SAI - Provides resources that foster a strong culture, mission and sense of community among single Airmen.

R4RRECHARGE FOR RESILIENCY

Rec-On: Provides resources for outdoor-centric, high adrenaline, post-deployment stress reduction, only available through FSS Outdoor Recreation Centers.

*Registration and payment are required prior to the day of the trip. All trips are subject to change due to factors beyond the control of Outdoor Recreation.

DEPLOYED AFFECTED programming

The Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) offers numerous outdoor trips that include whitewater rafting, zip-lining, skydiving, backpacking, canoeing, camping, paddle boarding, surfing, skiing, climbing and much more. Many of our OAP trips target specific audiences and provide needed support for our Airmen and their families through the Recharge for Resiliency Program.

All courses to include our Boater Safety Course are currently on hold. We hope to start again later this summer.

We have over 3,000 square feet of climbing surface for belay clinics, top roping, bouldering, and event competitions.

PAYMENT POLICYStorage customers must sign an agreement and register for monthly auto billing, or make (1) full term payment.One item per space. All items must be in good working status with valid registration, insurance, proof of ownership and ability to be moved within one day’s notice.

Reservations are free and available on a first come, first served basis and must be made with ODR prior to date. A contract is required to be completed for making reservations. Reserve this space for celebrations and events. Travisville Park features: volleyball nets, barbecues, electricity, restrooms picnic areas, playground & nearby tennis courts, turf.

FAMILY CAMPEnjoy Northern California at Travis FAM Camp (RV camp). Travis FAM Camp is centrally nestled in some of Northern California’s popular recreation destinations like Napa (24 miles), San Francisco (52 miles) and Sacramento (38 miles).

Eligibility - Active Duty, Reservist, Retirees, National Guard, Coast Guard, Retired, Dependents, 100% DAVPRM, DOD Civilians and Veterans with a service connected disability.

Park: 24 hours*Late arrivals please see office window. Check out time: 11:00am

Reservation Policy:Reservations accepted 90 days in advance with a $23 non-refundable deposit required. Reservations are highly recommended. No specific spot number can be reserved. Email us at [email protected].

Our Outdoor Adventure Program is a volunteer-run source of excitement for Travis AFB. Volunteers make our programs successful. If you want to get out, become a better leader, and learn new skills, this is the program for you! As a volunteer, you will be part of a large community of outdoor enthusiasts. Our programmer teaches volunteers the skills to create successful adventures. Prepare to work hard and have fun in the best outdoor spots California has to offer! Sign up as a volunteer at ODR. Train as a raft guide, be a tour driver, lead trips or assist with private reservations.

This is a self-care barn. Members are responsible for providing feed, turning out, and feeding their horses, as well as maintaining clean stalls. Contract required.

Private SailingSailing on the Bay (skipper provided) is a private sailing program open seasonally from March – October. Cost $150 for up to six guests (Eligible ID Card Holders). Subject to the availability of a skipper, and requires advance reservations as well as payment in full at time of confirmation. Note: A minimum of 2 weeks in advance per request is required – request alone does not alone guarantee booking. Cancellation Policy - 72 hours prior for full refund or 50% refund within 72 hours. Registration is mandatory, and request can be made on our web page at travisfss.com/marina

Squadron Loan PolicySquadrons are eligible for 2 free loans for tables, chairs and one additional picnic item (i.e.) bounce house, dunk tank, canopy or BBQ per calendar year. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. Free loans require an ODR MFR signed by requesting squadron’s commander - see rentals page on travisfss.com/ODR for example. CAMP & UTILITY TRAILERS

BOAT RENTALS

Camp Trailer Policy*Must have completed a Camp Trailer Orientation Course (CTOC) with ODR prior to rental. (Not required currently to rent due to COVID-19)*Renters must have 1/2 ton chassis with 7000+ towing capacity and breaking control box installed in the vehicle. *All trailer tanks MUST be entirely emptied and sanitized PRIOR to return. *FAM Camp has $5 dump station. *A $50 fee will be charged for sanitation cleaning fees associated with bathroom and tank cleaning. Reservations for all trailers can be made 90 days in advance. Minimum requirement for reservation is 3-business days prior to date of rental. A deposit equal to the item’s daily rental fee is required at time of reservation and will be refunded back to customer upon successful check-in of item. Any damage and or late fees will be deducted from this deposit. If fees exceed the deposit, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional cost. The fee to cover the entire rental is due at time of pick-up of equipment. *Travis Outdoor Recreation is not responsible for propane tank levels, hitches or electric adapters. **Renter must have insurance that will cover boat or trailer rental, and should stop by ODR for a pre-inspection prior to date of rental to ensure there are no issues with vehicle and boat/trailer hookup. Ask about travel distance limitations which may apply for both boats and trailers**

Boater Rental Policy - *There are no current course unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic. *Customers must have completed a previous BSC with ODR to rent at this time.All boat rentals require a CA Boater Card. Additionally, Tracker Targa Fish/Ski & Pontoon Boat require completion of an ODR Boater’s Safety Course and must meet towing requirements (1/2 ton chassis vehicle with towing capability of more than 5,000 Lbs). CA Boater Card info can be found at https://californiaboatercard.com. Vehicles with lifts will be required to supply own drop down hitch. Boat must be at level height or rental may be refused. **Insurance requirement/distance limitation - same as Camp Trailer Policy above.
