Treatment Quick cuts of dark rooms in house when dark outside. Zoom in on the cupboard in one of the rooms. Scream growing volume as the camera gets closer to the cupboard where an eye is looking out. Screech is heard and echo’s to Production card. Car appears at front of house next morning when bright outside. Three teenage girls come out of car, happy at new living arrangement. Slower cuts as they enter the house, all-smiling laughing. Two girls begin searching house talking happily. Girl 1 claims bedroom and sees something in closet, draws closer but the pulled away by girl 2.Tone card of ‘just because they can get in.’ Time passes, just barely light outside. All girls are in kitchen cooking laughing and listening to music. Door suddenly slams from upstairs and music’s turned down by Girl 1. Girls laugh it off as wind but Girl 1 looks worried. Girl 1 goes upstairs to find the door to her room won’t open. Cut to I camera of unknown figure in the room where door is unable to open. Girl 1 opens door to fid empty room but cupboard open Tone card of ‘doesn’t mean others aren’t already in’ turns to night time and girls are all in separate rooms sleeping. Footsteps are shown walking along the hallway holding a teddy bear by the side of the figure. Close up of figure whispering in Girl 2’s ear. Girl 2 wakes up to find nothing there. Switch to next day where it is light out. The girls are all at the library where Girl 2 keeps looking around while talking with friends. Teddy bear is seen on the floor of the library. She reaches the bear and as she touches it when she screams herself awake. When she awakes she sees the little girl holding a teddy bear in the middle of the room silent. Girl 1 and 3 run in and the little girl has disappeared. They comfort her in the dark. Voice over of Girl 2 speaking about how something evil must have lived in the house. Quick shots along with heartbeat sound as each Girl begins to experience strange things. Girl 1 places objects down and looks back to find a bloody writing or writing on steamy surface that says Comment [J1]: Dark areas of houses are a typical convention for horror films Comment [J2]: Dark environment sets up creepy setting Comment [J3]: Typical convention of horror films bring fear to audience. `leave’ Girl two continues to see the little girl in different

places like college and park. Girl 3 starts to see the little girl

in the park and goes to offer help. She follows little girl into

bush where there is a scream and quick shot of the little girls face

which is covered in dirt and blood.

There is many quick shots that get quicker of both girls arriving

home and talk about experiences of the past few days. There is the

sound of doors slamming and the little girl appearing. Next shot of

girls running about and knifes flying at them. Girl 1 gets injured

in arm. Girl 2 continues to try to escape around the house.Shot of

girl next in her room holding a knife, blood covers her clothes.

Loud screech is heard. She ducks down and closes her eyes and ears.

They open to an I camera of the girl coming at her.
