CULTIVATION TECHNIQUES

• Our trees are developed in harsh climatic conditions and in soil with a pH of between 7.5 and 8.

• We have developed a unique computer-controlled irrigation and fertilisation system.

• Our trees are well-rooted due to precisely and continuously monitored watering.

• Our nursery is authorised and controlled by the Government of Catalonia.

• Our nursery is inspected regularly for pests and trees are exported with their corresponding passports / phytosanitary certificates.

CLIMATE AND LOCATION

• Arid and continental climate.

• Local temperatures in summer are between +35ºC and +40ºC. In winter they are between -4ºC and -10ºC and can reach -15ºC.

• The region of Lleida, in the valley of the river Segre, is often foggy in winter and this fog freezes for at least one week per year.
