Trello for Consultants

Using this Consultant Board will make it easier to

find resources to help us research our family

history, add names to our Family Tree, and take

names to the Temple.

After we create our Trello account, we have access to

the “Consultants FHC” Board when we sign in to our

account at Trello.com. This is what it looks like.

Each long rectangle in gray is called a LIST.

Page 7: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

Each white rectangle on the list is called a

CARD.

Page 8: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

When we click on a CARD, it opens to

what we call the “back side” as we see

here, which offers information about the

topic on the Card.

Page 9: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

For Example:

The “Self Training”

List has a card called

“Family Tree Training:

Using the Tree”. By

clicking on that card,

we see the back side

with an attachment.

The attached link is

titled ‘Using the Tree

and Helper Feature.’

Clicking that link will

take you to that

training at

FamilySearch.org.

Page 10: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

The back

side of the

card may

have a

checklist

that will be

helpful.

Page 11: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

Each card has a color bar that is a “label”, color

coded to indicate the type of media presented.

See the different labels above.

Page 12: Trello for Family History Center Consultants

A GREEN label

means the

information is in

print. YELLOW

means the link will

take us to a web

site. ORANGE

goes to Videos,

Power Points or

Webinars.

RED takes us to

people, and BLUE

will take us to

pages on Social

Media sites that

are useful in our

family history

research.
