Our criteria for inclusion
1. Is it an ecolabel?An ecolabel is a seal or logo indicating environmentally or socially preferable products, services or companies that are based on standards or criteria.
This means: There are criteria that should be met to get the label. There is a verification procedure to determine compliance.
2. Is it active? We include those ecolabels who are currently active and
found in the marketplace.3. Can we find enough information about it to review it?
In order to determine whether it fits our definition of an ecolabel, we need basic information – on the criteria, on the verification process, and on who is running it.
