WHY JOIN THE TRI-LAKES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Dear Community,
Staff, board members, ambassadors and members are working hard to
ensure our thriving business community continues to grow and not just in
property values or business bottom-line, but in healthy, sustainable
coordination of this growth. By working together, we have achieved a lot
this year, as our Annual Report proves. But success in 2020 depends on
you.
We care about you, we care about your feedback, about your experiences
as a business owner, or an elected official. Whether you live, work or do
business in the Tri-Lakes area, we are navigating challenges with you.
We challenge you to do business with Chamber members. We challenge
you to attend education events to expand your knowledge. We challenge
you to network with new people to grow your social circle. Whether or
not you attend events, know we have your back in legislative, community
and business successes and challenges.

Companies in general have few opportunities to build trust and establish rapport with their customers and
prospects. Getting involved with an event and being seen as dependable and supportive will accelerate the
process. Attending an event is important but standing out in the crowd by being a sponsor will highlight
you and your business with a captive audience of up to 20,000. Depending on the level chosen, your
banners will be hung all over the street fair to be seen by all multiple times, in addition to a prime-location
vendor space. There can be multiple sponsors at each level, except there is only one platinum sponsor.

PURPOSE
The Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce provides leadership to support, improve, and promote existing and new businesses at the local and state level. In addition, we strive to enhance the quality of life of our members and area residents.
Tri-Lakes Chamber has been instrumental in growing my
new insurance agency. Having joined in July 2019 and
only having been a member 3 months, I have gained 6
new leads directly from events hosted by the chamber, as
well as a solid referral network and amazing opportunities
like the Business Expo to help grow my new business.
— Jon Wilcox, J.Wilcox Insurance Assoc., LLC
What an incredible group of people! My husband and I
were looking to be part of a Chamber that was filled with
down to earth, grass-roots people motivated to help the
community. We found it here at Tri-Lakes Chamber.

Helping the Community
• $1,000 given to Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance, helping senior citizens in the area
• Hosted United Way’s VITA tax preparers for 2 1/2 months
• 46 non-profits and community organizations held events in the Community Room at the Chamber office
• 12 education seminars free to the public and members
The Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce has been a great
way for me to get know my fellow entrepreneurs and have
them get to know me. The bi-monthly breakfasts and
after-hour mixers are great for generating referrals. In
fact, one of my best customers came to me from a Tri-
Lakes Chamber referral! I highly recommend every small
business be a member of the Tri-Lakes Chamber!”
— Doug Ottinger, Elkstone Homes
ANNUAL REPORT
Immediately after we joined the Tri-Lakes
Chamber of Commerce, we noticed our site comes
up toward the top of google searches, if not at the
very top, every time we search for ‘Heritage
Pentecostal.’ This was a sweet surprise to us when
we joined.
— Bill Fleming, Heritage Pentecostal Church
Joining Tri-Lakes Chamber was the best networking
decision I have made for the Lodge. The community
welcomes partnerships with open arms. The staff at the
Chamber are 100% focused and committed to the goal of
promoting business growth within the Tri-Lakes
community. The Quarterly Network Lunch frequently
introduces 30+ new members joining each quarter.
