tri-state free methodist camp family cookbook

The next time you go through your recipes looking for a family favorite to fix, pull out one (or a few) you’d like to share with your camp family. Helpful information to include: •Your name, address, email address and phone number •Category of recipe – appetizer, casserole, meat, vegetable, bread, soup, salad, dessert, etc. •Where/who did the recipe come from? •A short paragraph about the recipe as in: its history or something about the person who handed it down, a funny story like a cooking/baking disaster, about traditions that surround it, who taught you how to make it and when, etc. (RECOMMENDED) A photo: up close and personal of the finished product or of the person (at any age - old photos are great!) from whom it originated or of some step in the preparation phase to illustrate a point or of you or some family member making the recipe or of the celebration or holiday where it appears on the table, etc. •Last, but not least, the recipe – of course! (You can include up to three favorites from any of the categories above.) This information can be sent to me in many forms: •Mail a copy of the recipe, short paragraph and photo (along with a self-addressed stamped en- velope if you’d like the photo returned) to: Jennifer Barrett, 1275 North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460 or give it to me at the fall event at camp. •For those who are a little more technologically savvy, burn the information to a disc (note: the higher resolution of a photo the better for printing purposes) and give it to me at the fall event at camp or mail to the address above. •Email the information to me at: [email protected] and be sure to include “Tri-State Fam- ily Camp recipe” in the heading. •Go to the camp website at www.tri-statefamilycamp.com and use the Contact Us section. Thanks for your help! I look forward to getting them. (Baked apples with brown sugar & cinnamon)
