Last year a couple of SPC members took part and really enjoyed it. If anyone wold like to join in the fun this year, Anne Dickenson has kindly offered to co-ordinate entries, so please contact her by email [email protected] as soon as possible as entries close on 23 rd March. Cotswold Hunt ODE Another Cotswold Hunt event held at Andoversford, for which we have a quite a bit of interest already. Details on the website again https://cotswoldhunt ponyclub.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Schedule-Entry- form-A4-2017-final-2.pdf . Is there anyone else who would like to take part (especially looking for class 2 entries to make up a team)? Can you please let me know (email [email protected] ) as soon as possible so I can get the entries in. Rallies coming up…….. Lovely to see so many enjoying the first rally of the year at Haresfield yesterday, thanks to Sam, Alastair and Yasmin for the marvellous instruction (as always!). Looking forward to the next rally on 2 nd April, back at the Forty Acre Lane field, when I believe Catie has lots of Easter fun planned! April Show Our first major event of the year will be our Open and Novice Show on Sunday 9 th April, and hopefully you will have seen the beautiful schedule produced by Kay (featuring the very handsome Rocky). I hope many of you will be able to take part, but we will also need an awful lot of help, on the day itself, setting up the day before and packing away once the show is over. Set up will be from 10am on Saturday 8 th April and I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to spare some time to lend a hand – even if it’s only half an hour. It really is a case of the more the merrier!! On the day we are still looking for help with car-parking, the gymkhana, ring stewards…there is a job for everyone, whatever their level of experience and/or knowledge. Again, the more helpers there are, the easier it is for everyone, and whatever time you can spare will be very much appreciated. Can you let me or Catie know if you are able to help for all or part of the day (thanks to those who have already “volunteered”).

Can you let me or Catie know if you are able to help for all or part of the day (thanks to those who have already “volunteered”).We’ll pack up and clear away as soon as the show is over. How quickly can we get everything packed away this time?!

Show jumpingWell done to all those who took part in the two team show jumping competitions at Hartpury over the last few weeks. It’s quite daunting for ponies and riders in the indoor arena there, but from what I hear our members represented their club well and even came home with a few ribbons! I haven’t seen any photos though, get posting people….

Finally, I have membership cards for everyone who has renewed and will bring them along to the next rally, and at the show. If you haven’t already received one, please come and collect from me when you see me, or at least remind me that I have them…..they’ve been to one training and one rally already and sat firmly in my bag!
