be complacent and insincere in their devotion.

Host home needed immediately forDanish Exchange Student

A neighbor of the Eaves agreed to host a16-year-old exchangestudent from Denmark this year. Due to an ill child, she needs tofind another familyto hostthe exchange student. If you areinterested, please see Artie Eaves or contact the Church office.

A note from Artie Eaves: The exchange studentis averynicegirl named Signe (pronounced likeSeena). I've (Artie) spent some time aroundSigne and she's a very sweet kid andshe seemsextremelyself-sufficient. Signe attends ParadiseValley High School. She is a good student andenjoys being active. She likes riding bikes and

working out. She is great with kids. She also told me she lovescars. She has several older brothers at home in Denmarkandseems to be a bit of a tomboy. Her family in Denmark is awareof the situation and they are hopeful that their daughter can find a

new host family. My understanding is that there is no formalcompensation associated with the program. My neighbor really likesSigne and wants to keep in touch with her. She said she will assistthe new host family in any way that she can. She told me she wouldbe glad tostay involved to assist with transportation or anything elsethat is needed.

If you would like to provide flowers for the pulpitor stage in honor of a person or special

    Communion/Lords Supper

All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.

If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you

are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as

they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it whileit is in front of them before passing it along.

OfferingIn our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an

act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time

specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving

    as you are led.

NurseryWe have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the

north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
