MATTHEW FOX AND CREATION SPIRITUALITY (Adult Enrichment Class) – Sundays beginning April 8th – Opal Room – In this class 7-week class we’ll get an overview of creation spirituality as it has been developed over the last 50 years, especially by Rev. Matthew Fox. Have you heard of the “Coming of the Cosmic Christ?” Have you felt stirrings of “The Order of the Sacred Earth?” Or perhaps, even, have you seen glimpses of “The Hidden Spirituality of Men”? Those are the titles of three of Matthew Fox’s books that we’ll explore in brief...blended with video cuts, discussion and leadership by the Rev. Mike Eggleston. HOME GROUPS – Mondays at 6:30pm, and Tuesdays at 3:30pm – Season 2 discussion at the Monday night group will be a look at leadership in 1 Samuel. Season 2 of the Tuesday group will dig into the New Testament book of Galatians. NATIVE AMERICAN MINISTRIES SUNDAY – Sunday, Apr 15 – This special offering supports Native American outreach within annual conferences, provides seminary scholarships for Native Americans, and strengthens, develops and equips Native American rural, urban and reservation congregations, ministries and communities. BISHOP GRANT HAGIYA PREACHING – Sunday, Apr 22 – Trinity UMC – Join us for worship as we celebrate the anniversary of Trinity’s charter as a Methodist Church. A luncheon will follow the service. Sign up in the Social Hall so we know how many to expect. BAPTISM SUNDAY – Sunday, Apr 22, 10:00am – Persons interested in baptism for themselves or their children should contact Pastor G by April 15th. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS – Trinity UMC offers scholarships for post-high school education in a college, university, business, or trade school. COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAMS – MaryAnn Jakes will be available after church in April to answer your questions and to assist you in registering for these programs that give back to the community. It’s easy and secure. JOE CLOKEY MEMORIAL SERVICE – Saturday, Apr 28, 1:00pm – A potluck reception will follow the service. TRINITY KIDS TEACHERS AND HELPERS NEEDED - As a testament to our wonderful Sunday School teachers we are seeing more and more kids being a part of our Sunday morning worship. Because we are seeing more kids we are in need of more help. If you are interested in either being a teacher or helper please talk with Juliane Mittman or email her at julianemittman@gmail.com. ALL CHURCH CLEANING PARTY!! Saturday, 10/28 & 11/4 9:00AM – 12:00 noon

It’s time for a much needed Deep Cleaning at TUMC! Please join the Trustee Committee for one or both of these Saturday mornings to help “spruce up” the Social Hall, Kitchen and Sanctuary. We’ll have fun together vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing (sweating! J) and snacking, too – donuts will be served! Come help make our facility sparkling clean in time for the holidays. We’ll work on the Social Hall and Kitchen on 10/28, and on the Sanctuary on 11/4.
