HEIDELBERG
HEIDELBERG CASTLEThe Heidelberg Castle (in German language named: Schloss Heidelberg) is a famous ruin in Germany and landmark of Heidelberg. You got to see it!
OLD TOWNVisit the beautiful Old Town. Just walk up “Hauptstrasse” and have a look in all these little side streets. If you need some goodies for your lover back home, just
ask a local for “Zuckerladen” (Candy Shop @ Plöck 52). After that you should get a beer in “Untere Strasse” - you’ll find plenty of pubs here.
You should
visit the world-
famous
Heidelberg
Castle!

VIA PLANE
When you followed our advice
you’ll land at Frankfurt Airport
(www.frankfurt-airport.com). Pick up
your luggage and pass the security.
Make your way towards
“ F r a n k f u r t F l u g h a f e n
Fernbahnhof” (Frankfurt Airport
long-distance station)
Shortly before you enter the
station, which is constructed out of
glass (see above), you pass the so-
called “AIRail Terminal” on your
left side. Go in there and get
yourself a ticket for the train to
“Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof”.
No te : The re a re
some connections over
the day, where you enter
the train and drive directly
to Heidelberg. Ask the
staff at the AIRail
Terminal for these.
With the ‘normal’
and more frequent
connection you have
to change t r a ins a t
“Mannheim Hauptbahnhof”
once.
Go into the station, orientate
yourself, choose the right track and
use the escalator to get to the
trains.
I f you took the d i rect
connection sit back and drive about
45 minutes to Heidelberg Main
Station.
If you took the connection
over “Mannheim”, exit the train after
~30 minutes at Mannheim Main
Station and change tracks/trains
accordingly to your ticket. NOTE:
You can always go to track 9 and
drive with “S3” to Heidelberg. Your
ticket is valid in any case.
Congratulat ions: You
arrive at Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof.
Read the next page to see how you
go on.
BY CAR
Please use your favorite maps
application (maps.google.com works
fine for Germany) and plan your trip
to one of the relevant addresses.
Your hotel or the Print Media
Academy (PMA) is maybe the best
choice to start with. Have a look on
the next page for addresses. TIP: To
find PMA just try to find Heidelberg
Main station - it’s right there.
BY BIKEWe at ERNW love bikes, but
you’ll have to find your own way ;)

About the workshopsThese workshops are special versions of ERNW’s workshop series.
We believe that a great teacher needs active practical experience and that’s the reason why we don’t have ‘solely teachers’ nor ‘solely IT practitioners’.
Everybody at ERNW is ‘in the field’ with customers as much as he teaches
- and that’s why we got excellent practitioners with unmatched teaching abilities.
OK, AND WHERE IS THE CONFERENCE?
The conference is taking place at
Print Media Academy. This modern
and beautiful building out of glass
and steel is owned by the world-
f a m o u s “ H e i d e l b e r g e r
Druckmaschinen AG” (largest global
p r in t ing press manufactu re r ) .
TROOPERS from all over the world
occupy this facility from 8-12. March
2010 and make it their base of high-
end IT-Security education.
How to get there
From Heidelberg Main Station it’s
just a walk across the street. From
Marriott Hotel and NH Hotel it’s a five
minute walk. Please refer to the map
on the previous page.
Where to park your carAs we’re at ERNW
like to use “Deutsche
Bahn”, we strongly
recommend to travel by
train. If you’re dependent
on your car, park it at your
hotel and come to PMA by
public transport (Line 5 or 24 to
“Hauptbahnhof”). If you want to
park near the conference, there’s
a car park “P18” signposted.
TIP: Don’t try to park for free
on the big parking area of LIDL
supermarket - it’s not for free
anymore when they towed you.
And they do that pretty good!

There might be another reason,
why you can’t miss the building.

Unlike other “capture the flag” games, the battlegrounds featured in
PacketWars use the same software and hardware you would encounter in the
real world.
PacketWars is designed to operate like a sport. Think Formula One
Racing meets professional golf with a dash of Ultimate Fighting thrown in for
good measure. Serious fun!
The 21st Century sport of PacketWars is sponsor driven. Sponsors are
recruited based on a rigorous assessment process, ensuring alignment with
our technical requirements, corporate values and strategic vision.
