Brazilian (or South American) Tapirs are found in South American tropical forests and swamps.

Brazilian Tapirs can be 3-4 feet tall, and up to 6 feet long

They eat fruits and other plants Usually eat at night

DESCRIPTION

They reproduce almost every year, with 1 or 2 babies each year

It takes about 2-3 years for them to mature enough to reproduce Usually travel in packs of

two during mating season

Typically docile, but can be aggressive during mating season
