During the Faith Like a Shield Conference on August 26th and 27th, we began to see an activation of faith occur and then operate before us all on a much higher scale than in times past. The best way to describe it is this; with the faith of the saints who came together in unity for the work of the Kingdom in order to encourage the body and help activate faith in others, came also an operation of faith in their own lives that changed the atmosphere and the lives of those present. We witnessed words of knowledge being released for healing and healing was immediately received without hesitation. The Spirit of God moved and flowed from minister to minister as each message brought forth would build upon the other and set it up perfectly for the next session. Each word so powerfully delivered! Some couldn’t contain their joy of the moment! One would receive a word of

wisdom or a word of knowledge and with faith in operation they would minister to the needs of the people and we saw instant results. Instant! There was a bladder condition healed immediately. Testimonies were given and people were ministered to in their seats and the house was filled with more youth than ever before. We saw little ones worshipping and marriages touched. After a word was released regarding the need for prayer to first break the barrenness off of the people, as well as spiritually off the land so that we can then begin to see the fruit of the harvest, we then received another word that the same word was just spoken in Grand Rapids Michigan the night before in another conference there! One young woman received Jesus Christ as her Savior and two others ran to the altar for prayer during the call for Salvation. One young man received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit! Healings! Deliverance! Salvation! Baptism in the Holy Ghost! Faith moves mountains! We prayed for “walking in Faith like a Shield”. It happened immediately and with the increase of faith we immediately saw the fruit and the harvest coming in and that is it! Believing fully that the barren land has been Redeemed and the curse lifted, we know that we will see the harvest! May we all continue to walk in this place and bring in the souls of the harvest with a demonstration of His power and glory! It doesn’t matter what kind of shoes walked into this conference, each and every pair marched out of the building filled with a new level of faith!

The worship team ushered in the presence of

God with anointed music and songs.

Who can resist the sounds of children worshipping in the house?

Like these dancing, playing, joyful children, we all

experienced the joy of the Lord.

And the glory of the Lord rained down on us, touching us, consuming us with a desire for more of Him, and then filling all of us with a greater measure of faith!

The worship team laid a bed for the Holy Spirit to come and rest and anoint each minister as they brought forth the Word of God.

Then in unity, with power, authority, compassion, instruction, and encouragement, these mighty servants of God fed our minds and spirits.

The fields are ripe! And during this conference we witnessed some harvest-fruit through the greatest

miracle of all – souls saved! Also, one person received the baptism in the Holy Ghost!

And reports are flowing in of physical and relationship healings that occurred. God brought

everyone into a deeper level of faith!

The Faith Like a Shield Conference impacted everyone with a greater faith. Faith to go forth with their hands to the plow to work the fields of harvest with a fresh anointing and a greater

determination to take back what the enemy’s stolen and further the Kingdom of God.

It’s been a great summer. We’ve had the opportunity to travel a bit and meet some awesome people and we’ve seen God move and work in mighty ways.

The “Faith Like a Shield” Conference was an amazing end to our summer. As soon as it was finished though, we had to ready our youngest daughter, Cassie, for her return to school the following Monday.

People have always told us how time flies. But looking at our youngest – our baby – we begin to grasp the Scripture that defines our lives as a vapor. It seems that only yesterday I gave birth to this tiny, sweet, baby girl. Today she’s a young woman, in high-school, walking the path to adulthood.

As we cover her (and all of our children) in prayer, let us remind you to pray for your children and/or grandchildren as they return to school this year. Don’t forget to intercede for the teachers, administrators, coaches, and classmates of your children too.

It won’t be long – our next newsletter perhaps – that we’ll be sharing the news about the birth of our first grandchild. Wow. We still haven’t decided what we’d like to be called. We wonder should it be: ‘Grandma Sue & Grandpa Mark’ or ‘Nana & Papa’… nothing sounds like us! We’ll have to pray about that one! Any ideas?

But as we look forward to entering this new phase of our lives, I’m sure we’ll be calling some of you ‘seasoned’ grandparents for help!
