For our latest TrueShip Review, we spoke with Jessica Ireland of OriginalBeautyBox.com to

discuss her makeup organization product, the Original Beauty Box, and why she chose

ReadyShipper to handle all the shipping for her business.

What is OriginalBeautyBox.com?

What was your shipping process like before TrueShip?

Review how your process has changed since you started with TrueShip?

I came up with the idea for the Original Beauty Box when I was trying to find a way to organize all my

makeup. I have been obsessed with cosmetics since I was a little girl and that eventually led to a large

makeup collection, but I had no place to store and organize it easily. I looked around for a solution and

could not find a good one so I decided to create one. I put my cosmetics background to work and came up

with a solution that had a sleek design and could be customized to varying needs with removable dividers

and deep drawers.

OnOnce Jessica solved her own problem, it was only natural to help other women with the same problem and

OriginalBeautyBox.com was born.

To ship orders before finding ReadyShipper, I had to copy the address from each order in Magento and paste

it one by one into FedEx.com. This was fine at first when there were just a few orders, but as the Original

Beauty Box became popular on social media sites, like InstaGram and YouTube, the shipping process

became very hectic. This process was time-consuming and I had to constantly double check each order to

make sure it had the correct address and the right items. It just became too much so I started looking for a

better way.

Well, it has freed up all the time that I was wasting on printing all shipping labels. Now, I automatically

import everything into ReadyShipper, run my FedEx labels in large batches and all the information is sent

back to Magento. I’ve completely eliminated all the manual copying and pasting I was doing before. Some

days it saves me hours.

ReadyLabels have been great as well. Having the packing list and shipping label on an all in one form is a

big time saver. It’s easy and convenient to have everything I need for each shipment on one sheet. I used to

have to go back and forth between the order in Magento and the FedEx website as I was packing up the

box. The time and stress of constant double checking is gone.

It’s also really nice that ReadyShipper works so well on a Mac. I run my business on a Mac and there aren’t

many options there. Having your program run natively on my Mac is a huge plus.
