TRANSCRIPT
TruLink® Wireless Intercommunication System (ICS) is ideal for Medevac
crew on helicopters and Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) teams on fixed wing aircraft.
Communication cords are eliminated so Medevac crew maintains comms when
leaving the aircraft to assist and retrieve a wounded patient. In addition, they have
the freedom to operate in the tight confines on an aircraft without getting tangled
up in cords. Communication is hands-free so they can fully focus on the patient
and the full-duplex feature enables them to readily collaborate across the team
in crucial situations. The Adaptive Noise Cancellation feature facilitates clear and
effortless communication even under the whirling rotary blades of a Medevac
Helicopter. No other communication system combines these features support
and enhance AE crews mission capability.

Item P/N Notes
Portable Transceiver 780-1000-001-CF0095-M5 Plug in existing maintainer/
(TPT) aircrew headset to TPT
Dual Port Transceiver 780-1000-003-CF0095-M3 Stand alone unit connects
(DPT) to existing aircraft wired ICS
Channel Select Cable CC6658-M7 Enables initial DPT setup
– not used during operation
Platform Interface Cable JB6856-M7 or M8 Open ended Dynamic (M8)
(PIC) or Electret (M7) Mic interface
TPT Pouch AMTC-P1109-UC Optional holder for TPT or DPT
Features
• Eliminate misinterpreted visual hand signals.
• Increase safety and mobility by eliminating restrictive
communication cords that physically connect
maintainers and aircrew to the aircraft.
• Safe communication whilst hot re-fueling.
• Maximize aircraft turnaround through higher efficiency.
Configuration
Users connect their existing headsets to a TruLink
Portable Transceiver (TPT) for wireless intercommuni-
cations between each other and the aircraft. A Dual Port
Transceiver (DPT) is a stand-alone unit that connects to
any aircrafts existing wired Intercom System (ICS) Crew
Station via a Platform Interface Cable (PIC). The DPT/PIC
combination is temporarily connected during the operation
to function as a “roll-on/roll-off” wireless access point
that acts as a communication bridge to the aircrafts
wired ICS.
Applications
Operations
• Cargo loading and unloading.
• Aircraft tow, pushback and wing walking.
• Hot refueling.
• Aircraft radio monitoring.
Maintenance
• Aircraft launch and recovery.
• Aircraft inspection and repair.
• Avionic, hydraulic and electrical system servicing.
• Fuel system overhauls/engine runs.
