Abuse of Executive Power

Remember the days when the press would trumpet the abuse of power by the executive branch? They often would cite that the president takes an oath of office and swears a constitutional duty to ‘take care that the laws be faithfully executed.’ Any time it appeared that an interpretation of law was, in the press’ view, extreme, they would sound the alarm of executive overreach. Until now.

Over the years, the Obama Administration has repeatedly suspended the laws in numerous areas. Last count for this admini-stration’s “modifications” to its own ObamaCare was 15 times, maybe more. These “modifications” allow select individuals or groups to delay the onerous requirements of the law.

But, it didn’t start or stop there. Immigration laws, environmental regulations, education funding have also received selective attention for enforcement. In the case of immigration, entire programs have been created without the involvement of the leg-islative branch, Congress. The regulatory bureaucracy can and does make regulations that are far more constricting than what was intended under the legislation.

Remember the president’s words: “What I’m not gonna do is wait for Congress,” he said. “So wherever we have an opportu-nity and I have the executive authority to go ahead and get some things done, we’re just gonna go ahead and do ‘em.”

A battered Constitution and years of legal precedent do not seem to matter to this Administration. Unless you stand up against these actions and speak out, it will only continue. Write to the editor of your newspaper. Engage your friends and family. Volunteer and support organizations that honor and defend the Constitution, the rule of law and the America we cher-ish. Elect only those that do the same.

Take a stand against the abuse of power.

Quality stands out. Leaders inspire. Determination and achievement are rewarded.

Three Presidents

What did Presidents Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?

Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

In 1954, Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million illegal Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!

Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, then surely it can be done today. Why, you might ask, can't they do this today? Actually the answer is quite simple. Hoover , Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy poli-

ticians looking for votes!

And Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes - 12 to 20 million illegal aliens - are depending on it.

SOCIALISM 101

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "Ok, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.” (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all). After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little, had studied even less, and the ones who studied hard, decided they wanted a free ride too, so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased because bickering, blame and name-calling all re-sulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the re-ward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that.

SUMMARY

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment: 1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. 2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from some-body else. 4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. 5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

The Stages of The Rise And Fall of All Great Nations

"History shows us that all of the great nations of the world have never lived much more than 200 years, and there

has been sequential stages in every case.

The first stage moves from bondage to spiritual faith.

The second from spiritual faith to great courage.

The third stage moves from great courage to liberty.

The fourth stage moves from liberty to abundance.

The fifth stage moves from abundance to selfishness.

The sixth stage moves from selfishness to complacency.

The seventh stage moves from complacency to apathy.

The eighth stage moves from apathy to moral decay.

The ninth stage moves from moral decay to dependence.

And the tenth and last stage moves from dependence to bondage.

These are the ten stages through which all the great nations have gone. We can't help from noticing the progression

from bondage to liberty back to bondage. Seems that the law of circularity might be at work. Nevertheless, the first

generation throws off the shackles of bondage only to have a later generation -- through apathy, indifference, and

dependence upon the government -- to allow itself to once again be enslaved."

Which stage do you think the United States of America is in, as well as the other great nations of the world? How

long do we have before the people of this nation are in bondage again? Can it prevented?

And, as a side note, if anyone knows who wrote this, I would greatly appreciate knowing. I cannot find it anywhere.

Thanks!
