DR. WILLIAM BUSCH Dr. Busch graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine in 1989, followed by a General Practice Residency at The VA Hospital in Topeka, KS. He opened his own practice in 1991—North Kansas City Dental. Dr. Busch received his Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009. His relentless passion for dentistry has led him many places, including his current role as the Team Dentist for the NFL Kansas City Chiefs. Dr. Busch has written many publications including the book “Digital Technology Integration for Efficient Clinical Workflow.” He has given training courses on new technologies for over 25 years, using his own completely digital office as an example. His current project is to make his dental lab plaster free. He is presently a board member of the TeamSmile dental outreach for children, which he created in 2006 with his best friend Jason Krause of Henry Schein Dental. TeamSmile has helped over 25,000 underserved children get the dentistry and oral health education they need to be pain free and successful. DR. ROMAN CIBIRKA Dr. Cibirka graduated with honors as a Prosthodontist from the University of Michigan in 1988. After nearly 10 years in private practice, he relocated to Georgia where he became a tenured professor and Executive Vice President, Vice Provost for Georgia Regents University (GRU), an academic medical center. Dr. Cibirka obtained approval for a Confucius Institute at GRU in partnership with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the only one in the USA focused on TCM. Dr. Cibirka is internationally recognized for his achievements as a health education innovator using advanced technologies. He is a strategic advisor in health care education and technology innovation for major Silicon Valley technology companies and leading dental manufacturers. Dr. Cibirka is a member of the selective OKU, AUPhi and Academy of Prosthodontics. He has lectured globally on educational innovation, technology, prosthodontics, biocompatibility, and forensics. DR. PATTY ERICKSON Dr. Erickson is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She completed a one year general practice residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. After practicing in New Hampshire for a number of years, Dr. Erickson now operates her own digital dentistry practice in North Lake, WI, where she uses the latest technologies to educate and treat her patients. DR. JONATHAN L. FERENCZ Dr. Ferencz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics and Occlusion in the Department of Advanced Education in Prosthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the American College of Dentists, the New York Academy of Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American College of Dentists, the Academy of Prosthodontics, and the Northeastern Gnathological Society. Dr. Ferencz has served as President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, President of the Northeastern Gnathological Society, and President of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is a contributor to and editor of dental literature, including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the textbook “High-Strength Ceramics: Collaborative Perspectives.” HEATHER HENNEN Heather Hennen is a Dental Assistant and Business and Treatment Coordinator in Wakefield, NC. She is also an independent contractor, a published author, and both national and international lecturer on various topics ranging from chairside assisting techniques and CAD/CAM (both clinical and practice integration) to treatment acceptance and more. She also serves as a KOL for several manufacturers and is the co-founder of the Fifth Gear program, which provides hands-on clinical team training. DR. PARAG KACHALIA Dr. Kachalia is the Vice Chair of Simulation, Technology, and Research and is a team leader within the University of the Pacific’s prestigious complex and esthetic rehabilitation program. He is a fellow of the American Dental Education Association’s leadership institute and American College of Dentists. He has lectured internationally in the areas of dental technology, adhesive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, photography, fixed prosthodontics, and dental materials. Dr. Kachalia acts as a consultant for many dental companies and helps guide product development. He maintains a private practice in San Ramon, CA with his wife Dr. Charity Duncan. DR. GARY KAYE Dr. Kaye is a graduate of the Columbia School of Oral Medicine in New York City. He has received numerous awards and citations including the Dean’s List in Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Geriatric dentistry. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Training. Dr. Kaye is the founder of Kaye Dentistry PLLC, a world class reconstructive, cosmetic, and implant dental practice located in the heart of New York City, where he provides state-of-the-art modalities that help his patients attain long-term, stable, oral health. He is also the Founder & Director of the New York Center for Digital Dentistry which provides consulting on Fee-for-Service practice as well as In-Person & Online Digital Dentistry Learning Programs. Dr. Kaye lectures on ceramics, occlusion, and digital dentistry, and performs live patient demonstrations to dentist audiences. DR. PARESH SHAH Dr. Shah maintains a private practice in Winnipeg, Canada with a focus on implant, cosmetic, and interdisciplinary complex restorative care. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991, as well as the Misch Implant Institute Prosthetic Program and the Kois Center in Seattle. Dr. Shah is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He also advises numerous dental manufacturers on product development. He has given over 125 lectures on all aspects of restorative and interdisciplinary care. DR. EDMOND SUH Dr. Suh, an internationally recognized speaker in the field of general dentistry, has committed himself to excellence as a student, a practitioner, and a well-regarded professor and instructor on dental topics. He has lectured all over the world, from Australia and New Zealand to Mexico and Canada. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he earned honors for pediatric care. He is an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Suh currently serves on the faculty and as Regional Director of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Suh is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He is committed to lifelong education and professional development through continuing education. He has attained the prestigious Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry. DR. DEAN VAFIADIS Dr. Vafiadis received his dental degree and Prosthodontic specialty training at the New York University College of Dentistry. He is currently the Director of the Full-Mouth Rehabilitation CE course at NYU, where he is an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and clinical instructor. He has lectured nationally and abroad for the NYU Continuing Education Department and has instructed over 8000 dentists with over 500 programs in the past 18 years. Dr. Vafiadis publishes and lectures on various topics such as aesthetics, implants, CAD/CAM dentistry, ceramic materials, and occlusion. He is the founder of the New York Smile Institute in NY, an educational center, full-service laboratory, learning facility, and private practice.
