In Ontario, four school systems are publicly funded;theFrenchpublicsystem,theFrenchCatholic system, the English public system and the English Catholic system. Electors can vote for trustees in only one system. An English Public School Elector is a resident or ratepayer who supports the English public system.Thisinformationisusuallyidentifiedon the municipal tax statement. In York Re-gion, English public school electors may vote for trustees of the York Region District School Board.
