No tight or form fitting pants, stretch pants, yoga

pants or leggings may be worn unless

worn under a skirt, dress, skort, tunic or long shirt that

is mid-thigh or longer andcomplies with the dress code.

If you know you will be moving and that your student will not be attending Story next year please let us know in the office.

Be on the lookout for a form coming home in Thursday folders - this only has to be completed if you know or think your child will not be attending Story next year.

If according to our records they have not received their 7th grade required immunizations they will have a piece of pink paper listing missing immunizations. Attendance Notes

Please note that we require notes for Full day and Partial day absences.

School hours are 7:50 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

◊ Students who arrive at school between 7:50 a.m.-8:10 a.m. will be marked “late"

◊ Students who arrive after 8:10 a.m. will be marked with a partial day absence

◊ Students who leave school prior to 2:40 p.m. without excuse will be marked with a partial day absence

◊ Students who leave school after 2:40 will be marked “left early”

If you have any questions regarding truancy laws and Allen’s procedures, refer to the Allen ISD Student Handbook or contact the office of Safe and Secure Schools at 972-236-9367.

Lost and Found

Below is a picture of our overflowing lost and found. If your child is missing a jacket, sweater, pants - Please tell them to take a look.Please label all Jackets so it is easier for us to return them to their owners.

New Student EnrollmentOpen March 1st

Enrollment for all new students to Allen ISD will begin March 1st.

Please go to Allenisd.org and under the Parent tab you will find the online enrollment.

Once you have completed the online enrollment our registrar, Kim Wilson, will give you a call to make an appointment to complete registration. We will start to schedule appointments from March 5th during school hours.

New Kindergarten Parents, please complete enrollment as soon as possible so we can have your registrations completed by April 5th.

Visiting our campus?

Per Allen ISD - Student Handbook page 94

For the safety of those within the school and to avoid disruption of instructional time, allvisitors must first register at the receptionist’s desk, sign in using the paper logs and obtain avisitor’s badge and comply with all applicable district policies and procedures (includingpresenting a driver’s license or other approved picture ID)

Front doors will lock automaticallyafter arrival time and remain locked throughout the school day. Visitors will be required to ringthe doorbell and present a picture ID to the receptionist before being allowed into the building.Upon entering any campus, the visitor’s picture ID must be scanned into the VisitorManagement System to log the visit.

For specific appointments with teachers, counselors, administrators or other staff members,parents should call the school in advance.

To ensure test security and integrity, visitor access will be limited on alldistrict and state testing days.
